No one, not even the goblin, dared to disobey the nurses command. Aside from the nurse's commanding tone, everyone also was anxious to find out the exact details of Harry’s situation.

After waiting for more than 5 hours, the three of them had calmed down. However there was a prevailing tension in the atmosphere, as everyone’s attitude to the current situation was quite varied. Griphock’s immense disapproval to the two who had a large part to play in how things had turned out as such made everybody even more uncomfortable.

At some point Dumbledore had ordered food and tea from the house elves and later tea. Otherwise the three did not dare to move from their seats at the waiting area. McGonagall even refused to go to the bathroom for fear of missing out on anything.

Now all five were seated in Poppy’s surprisingly large office.

She summoned the house elves and ordered a cup of tea, two bottles of water and sandwiches for herself and Snape. Although they did not feel like eating, they had to eat to reenergise, as they knew the boy needed them.

After consuming the refreshments, and Poppy draining a whole bottle of water, she directed her attention to the others present. Her attention was captured by the goblin who seemed oddly out of place in her office.

“Before I start demolishing some empty human heads,” she forced out, shooting venomous glare towards Dumbledore and McGonagall, and returned her focus to the goblin, “I would like to know why you are here, at Hogwarts. Don’t misunderstand me, for I’m merely curious you see, as I’ve never seen a goblin voluntarily leaving Gringotts, visiting Hogwarts. How are you related to the boy?”

Griphock decided that Poppy was no threat to him, seeing how she was only curious and proceeded to tell her the truth.

“Well, you see, Mr. Potter is one of our most valued customers, and extremely treasured friend to all the Goblins at Gringotts. I had asked to meet him today, to discuss some very important personal matters of his, and wanted to keep this meeting a secret his safety. So we had decided to meet at Hogwarts instead of at Gringotts. We can tell you what the conversation was about only if Mr. Potter agrees.”

Griphock was met with four astounded faces when he finished speaking, and no it was not because of his refusal to provide any further information about the meeting as it was a well-known fact that goblins were the best at keeping secrets, but by the fact that a friendship had developed between Harry and the goblins. After all Goblins were averse to humans and tried to keep their interaction with humans as minimal as possible.

The professors remembered the immense knowledge that Harry had displayed in the Headmaster’s office. They were now well aware that the knowledge, which was initially thought to be obtained through secondary resources such as book, came from the Goblins themselves. Dumbledore and the others were becoming more aware how little they knew about their student. Well, it seemed more acceptable in Snape’s case for he never took any interest in the boy’s affairs and had set his mind on hating him from the start, but it was a shame that it was the same with Professor McGonagall who was the head of his house and the Headmaster who was his current guardian.

"Merlin, even a quiz master knows more about his candidates than we do about this boy." It hurt, but with this dry remark, Snape had hit the nail on the head.

“How the hell did you not notice the boy’s condition for so many years? I am well aware from years of experience that Harry has done a good job at downplaying his injuries, but to burden him further with more duties, this is unacceptable.” Again Poppy hot another glare at the rest of them, and Griphock was not spared.

"Poppy, even when we started the conversation, Harry looked normal. He would certainly have withheld his injuries, if we had not forced him to show them by Severus give him a blank potion so we could see the boy’s true form.” After McGonagall rushed out those words defensively, the Mediwitch seem to calm down and her expression became softer, thou guy her anger had not seemed to have completely dissipated.
