Your POV

It felt like forever since we had left. It's not like we were living, but rather we were only surviving. But at least we were free.

We haven't found a permanent place to be, so as far as I'm concerned, we're just wanderers of the desert.

The palace is still in view, even though we're far from it. Although however far we manage to venture away, I can't help but feel eyes on me. Powerful eyes.

Aizen's eyes.

I wasn't afraid though. If I died...it's not like anything would change. I was just a pawn in his sick, twisted game. He probably knew this would happen. They're probably all laughing at us right now.

The espada...an elite, pointless team of sacrifices so Aizen can sit on his throne of lies and watch us burn.

They're all oblivious though. And they'll burn for it. They just don't know it yet.

I wonder if Grimmjow knows that he's protecting himself. That he's making a good-safe- decision...or maybe he doesn't care and is being reckless.....whether he knows it or not, he's smart to do it.

I was following Grimmjow, stuck in my thoughts when I felt a rumbling in my feet. I stopped. He must not have felt it because he didn't do anything.

"Grimmj-"

"I know. I just don't care. Anything out here is weak compared to us. If it wants to come, let it. We'll have something to eat."

He sounded aggravated. Almost like he made a terrible decision. That he should go back and live the easy life again.

I sighed. I felt- well I changed. After that dream, even I can tell I've been acting differently around him. I just- I shook it off and picked up my feet. For the second espada I sure was being a pussy.

How pathetic.

Alright idk if this made sense, but it's gonna pick up and get spICy bois.

But I know for damn sure I'm gonna go through and edit this story when I finish it, oof.
