Cinder: How exactly to plan on sealing Salem away then?

Me: There are two ways, one involves you and the other requires a sacrifice to be made

Cinder: What kind of sacrifice?

Me: The kind i'm sure you'd make others do

She chuckled dryly before crossing her arms and looking at me

Cinder: Well before you do that you have to give me the power you promised

Me: When it's time

Neo landed the airship and a door opened, i saw her smirking at us so i went inside with Cinder as a gull wing door shut behind us.

The airship took off as i sat down, Cinder sat across from me with an evil smirk on her face as she crossed her arms.

Cinder: How does it feel to be working with the person who killed your friend?

Me: Getting a rise out of me won't work

Cinder: You know, she asked me if i believed in destiny... and i still do. It was her destiny to die to me as it will be yours to give me further power

I let out a sigh before looking at her Grimm arm, someone like her deserves to be dehumanized like that

Me: Then i guess it was your destiny to be scarred by Ruby?

Her amused expression changed do a scowl, flames enveloped her right eye as my tail swished behind me.

We went to get up but there was abit of turbulence which forced us back into our seats, glaring at eachother she let out a deep breath as the flames disappeared

Wrapping my tail around my waist i got up and walked into the cockpit, seeing Neo flying i sat in the seat beside her as she took a glance at me with a smile.

Me: Did i make the right choice?

She titled her head in confusion as i ran a hand through my hair

Me: Working with the person who was the cause of so many deaths... taking you on this mission, i don't want you to get hurt because of me

Neo reached over and patted my shoulder before just smiling at me as she nodded

Me: Heh... you want to come on a suicide mission?

She shook her head before pointing at me, Neo turned back to the controls and continued to fly the airship.

She just wanted to be with me... god i missed her. If i live through this i'm never letting her leave again

Timeskip

As Neo flew us i began to nod off, just as i was about to fall asleep the ship shook which jolted me awake.

There was some flashing lights so i looked to Neo who looked panicked, Cinder came in from the back and grabbed onto the lintel.

Cinder: We're under attack!

I got up and moved over to the back as the gull wing doors opened, peaking out i saw a group of airships that were grey with red outlines

Cinder came over and looked through the other before tisking and gripping the side of the door frame tightly

Cinder: Watts you bastard...

Me: Someone you know?

Cinder: He works under Salem

A row of missiles were fired at us so i pulled back my hand and fired a large blast towards them.

I destroyed most or them but a few came my way, i panicked before shards of flaming glass were fired towards them and destroyed them in mid-air.

I turned to see Cinder sticking her hand out with a smirk on her face, Neo flew away although the airships followed behind us.

Cinder: Can't have you dying yet

Me: I can't destroy the airships

Cinder: What?! Why not use that weird form you had?

Me: I need a full moon to do that

Cinder: Don't you have anything elese!?

I tried to transform into a super saiyan although Blake's words flashed through my mind, Neo would see me like that too...

Letting out a sigh i began to think... (power requested by Hyde_kido) this'll be a risk although i haven't got any other options

Placing a hand over my face as a light blue aura surrounded my person, a large black and red flash burst out from me before it disappeared.

I let out a raspy breath as a white mask with a visible row of teeth that formed a sickening smile with red lines that ran from the top to the teeth.

My eyes had changed to orange with Black siclera which now peered into Cinder's eye as she looked at me in shock

Me: Give me a sword

My voice was slightly distorted although i was im control for now, Cinder created a sword for me before I grabbed it and quickly dashed off.

Quickly flying to the airships i slashed through it making the ship explode, a flew turned to me but i managed to dodge around some shots.

A missile was sent my way although i jumped over it and raised up the sword, swinging down a yellow blast was sent off it and hit most the ships.

Flying back slightly my head throbbed in pain and i held it, i went to pull the mask off however my hand was being forced back by something

?: Don't do that... i need to have my fun!

The mask began to spread from my face to the back of my head as i shouted in pain, raising my arm i smashed the butt of sword into the mask cracking it.

?: What are you doing!?

Me: Get... Out... My head!

I managed to tear half the mask off as it's control slipped away, i panted as i looked up before pulling off the other half.

The last couple airships fired missiles towards me as i stared at them shocked, i used Witch Time as time slowed so i was able to evade them.

Neo's airship flew to me so i dropped into it as Cinder pulled back her hands and smirked.

Flames surrounded her eye before shards of glass grouped together and connected with Cinder's flames.

The shot towards them remaining airships amd jammed themselves into the missile ports.

They ignited and exploded the airships as a smug smile spread across her lips, the sword in my hand evaporated as i got up.

Me: Thanks for that...

Cinder: You're an idiot. Don't risk your life

Me: What's this, is Cinder showing genuine care about me?

Cinder: If you continue with comments like that i'll kill you after all this

Me: Jeez sor-

I was cut off as the oxygen was forced out my lungs, i looked down to see that Neo had tackled me.

Cinder sighed before goung into the cockpit to fly. I hugged Neo back as she rested her head on my shoulder.

She parted from me and pulled out her scroll as she began typing

Me: I know, i'm an idiot...

Neo shook her head before showing me her scroll "Are you hurt?!"... is... is she not going to berate me for being reckless?

Me: H-Hurt? No, i'm okay...

She let out a slient sigh before showing me her scroll okay with a sad smile on her face "Thank Oum you're okay"

Is... this isn't what it was like with Blake. Why is it so different?
