10. Crazy with a capital C

Elena laid next to Damon on his bed, the sheets were thrown back, her clothes were scattered all around the room and somehow one of her shoes was in his bathroom. Damon was staring at the ceiling and Elena wondered what his beautiful mind was thinking. 

'I can't believe we just did that' he sighed 

'Why not?' Elena asked back

'I'm not sure, at first I didn't think you'd be like that, but then I realised you can be like that, and I'm okay with that but I thought you wanted to go on dates, to be girlfriend and boyfriend or whatever'

'I want all of that' Elena replied slightly confused at his speech, she stared at him until he rolled over and looked into her eyes

'I'm happy' he told her

'Me too' she smiled back, but that smile quickly vanished when she heard a loud bang on the door

'Damon!' Diana called 'why is your door locked? I need to talk' she hammered away on the door sending vibrations through the room

'I'm busy!' Damon yelled back

'Well stop being busy!' Diana shouted suddenly Diana realised what he meant by "busy", 'Hi Elena!' she whispered through the door 'Nice move' and she quickly hurried back down the stairs

'What did she mean by nice move?' Damon asked

'She was trying to tear us apart Damon' Elena started to explain 'she hates me because she thinks I'm messing with you and because of Stefan and I don't even know her' 

'So you just used me?' Damon questioned getting up from his bed and finding his pants in the cold fire place 'Seriously?'

'No, no way' Elena replied frantically getting up and putting her skirt on 'I just wanted to show you that we belong together, before Diana infiltrated your mind and filled it with crazy conspiracies about me' 

'She's my sister Elena' Damon shouted back 'she's my blood okay? She wouldn't lie to me or do anything you're saying right now'

'Seriously Damon? Wow, I guess she has already gotten to you, she's not who you think she is' Elena snapped grabbing her second shoe from the bathroom and storming out of his room. 

Caroline and Bonnie were waiting for Elena when she slammed the door to their dorm shut, she slid down against the door and burst into tears. The girls both rushed over instantly trying to comfort their crying friend, they brushed the hair off her face and wiped away her tears while Elena struggled to stop crying so she could tell them what happened. 

'I can't believe he's taking her side' Caroline said after listening to what Elena had just said

'I told you, twins have a powerful connection, it's like magic' Bonnie explained 

'Could we use magic to break them up?' Elena asked

'I don't think so' Bonnie replied

'You know who can help?' Caroline stated

'Who?' they both asked

'Stefan.'
