Another two weeks has passed and once again Luke and Ashton hadn't spoken, however this time it wasn't down to Ashton's college workload.

For Luke, that had been a whole two weeks of stressing over if Ashton even wanted to see or talk to him at all, or if the boy even wanted to be with him. He'd spent almost every waking moment thinking about his honey haired beauty, writing out texts only to erase them moments later before he could press send.

He didn't know if Ashton had done the same at all.

Luke had decided he'd had enough of Ashtons radio silence, that he would force the boy to talk to him. Luke needed to make sure they were okay.

It had been almost four years since he'd properly been in any of the college dorms, he only visited Ashton there once or twice before and it had been very brief. However, this time he took his time walking through the front doors, through the corridors and up the four flights of stairs to where Ashtons room would be.

Maybe he did it because he wanted to stall seeing Ashton, scared that he would just shut the door right in Luke's face. But, Luke told himself we was just admiring the place, reminiscing on the past when in reality he knew he was stalling. He knew he couldn't do that forever though.

Everything looked just the same as it did when he'd lived there, two floors up and a corridor over from Ashton. The dark wooden doors, shiny floors and educational, inspirational and movies posters framed along the walls. It almost made Luke feel like a kid again, like he wasn't the father of a 5 year old boy with a full time job.

He let himself enjoy that feeling for just a moment before he was stood in front of Ashtons dorm room.

Lifting a hesitant hand, Luke lightly knocked on the door before taking a step back and praying for the best.

"Luke? Hey, I guess you're here for Ashton huh?" Finn smiled at him from the door that was now cracked open.

"Hi Finn. I am, is he around? I need to talk to him," Luke sent a tight smile back to the boy, trying not to let his nerves show.

"Of course he is, he's barely left in two weeks. He was just finishing a shower, you can come in and wait if you'd like?" Finn opened the door wider so that Luke could step inside.

Looking around, Luke saw the clutter all over the place that Ashton would constantly complain about - how Finn never tidied up after himself and left his things all over the place.

"From what I know, the two of you seem like you have a bit to talk about so I'll leave you be," Finn turned to Luke as they stopped in the middle of the large room. "I was just about to head to the library to do some cramming."

"Thank you," Luke smiled again at the boy, forcing himself to relax more. "You don't have to do that."

"It's fine, honestly," Finn smiled back. "He's been in a big grumpy and sad mood for two weeks, I know he misses you, this'll do you both good I bet."

"Thank you, again," Luke sent Finn one last small smile before the boy walked out the room with a bag in hand and Luke sat himself down the edge of Ashtons bed.

He could hear Ashton moving around in the bathroom, still unaware that Luke was there waiting for him. He was scared that Ashton would think he is ambushing him, that Ashton would see him and tell him to get out.

Perhaps I should've texted him.

Luke almost got up to just leave, to pretend he hadn't been there at all and to just text his boyfriend later. But before he could, Ashton walked out of the bathroom; stopping in his steps as he noticed Luke sitting on his bed.
