ChatNoir walked around greeting the kids that attended the event. He noticed how Marinette purposely avoided him but her and her daughter got stopped by Queen Bee. Emma was so excited to meant a superhero. Sure she lived with one but she was never face to face with one in costume.

"This is so... un-bee-lievable!" Emma shouted in excitement.

Marinette wondered how long Emma was holding on to that pun. Marinette knew ChatNoir could hold onto a pun for a couple of weeks waiting for the right time. Queen Bee tilted her head not sure how she felt about Marinette having a daughter especially one older then her son and daughters. She respected that Marinette was a single mother like she was but wondered what man would be stupid enough not to use proper protection with 'her'.

"Guess, I'm going to have to take you under my wing." Queen Bee joked.

She missed saying puns back and forth between ChatNoir and her. After Ladybug died or supposedly died, ChatNoir had never been the same. No body was ever discovered and her Miraculous never reappeared so for five years he searched trying to hang on to hope.

"Really? That would bee awesome!"
Emma replied.

Marinette knew both of them could keep going for a long while.

"How time does fly... guess we hive to buzz off." Marinette added.

Both Emma and Queen Bee were impressed with her saying three puns in a row. Marinette of course was taught by a purr-fessional. Marinette turned only to bump right into the very cat she was trying to avoid. She understood he was her daughter's hero but he was Emma's father. Not only that he was the man who stole her innocence.

"Purrinc...."

Before he could finish his greeting Marinette slapped him. Not a gentle, playful slap no. I slap that had ten years of vented up anger put into it. Something that definitely would leave a mark. ChatNoir rubbed his cheek as he watch Marinette walk away in tears once more. Emma was dragged along not understanding why her mom did that or why she couldn't talk to ChatNoir.

"Mommy?" Emma questioned.

"Sorry, kitten. Maybe, we'll see him again some other time."

Marinette said trying to prevent her daughter from seeing her in such distress.

"Okay." Emma pouted.
