It felt like he was just asleep and woke up from a lengthy dream.

Ming Yu rubbed his heavy eyes to wake himself up and assess his surroundings.

[Admin: You're awake?]

where. . .

[Admin: You're in another novel.]

A strange room, walls pinned with sketches and adorned with paintings. He was in front of his desk, sitting before a working computer.

"Li Jun. . ." he mumbled in reflex.

Ah. . . that's right. . .

[Admin: "..."]

He could faintly make out of his face from the reflection on his computer screen and noticed that he looked a lot different. Ming Yu wanted to stand up and look around the room but no matter how he forced himself, his legs wouldn't budge.

"Admin. . ." he mumbled now noticing that his seat was actually an expensive looking wheelchair.

[Admin: Let me explain. We are currently inside your novel about a poor to rich celebrity Female lead and a rich business man ML. Because it is hard for some nobody to be part of their circle, the only way I could keep you near the main protagonists was to let you occupy a filler character close to them.]

[Admin: The character your substituting as is Jang Xin, the female antagonists Jang Biqing crippled older brother who's a well known architect.]

[Admin: I chose him cause you never really finished writing his purpose in the story. He hadn't even met the set of protagonists yet.]

[Admin: This was the best option. . .]

He kept quiet and only stared at his useless legs. The fact of feeling nothing from his lower body was new and strange to him and he felt a bit uncomfortable inside. The inexperienced Ming Yu fumbled around the levers on his wheelchair trying to learn how to move around with it.

" Am I living alone?"

[Admin: Jang Xin and Jang Biqin weren't in good terms. She thinks that having a crippled brother was a stain to her reputation but because she was kicked out from her lavish condo for not having the money to pay rent, she forced herself in and is using a room upstairs.]

[Admin: Don't worry! she only comes over to sleep then leaves early in the morning. Usually she's not even home.]

Ming Yu dragged his wheelchair outside his room and looked around. The apartment was wide and chic befitting an architect. He went through a lot of studying about architecture just so he could fill in this role although in the end, he forgot about even creating Jang Xin at all.

I even went to the library almost everyday. . .

[Admin: Author. I might be unreachable for a long time.]

Ming Yu thought of the keyboard and typed his words down. He never thought it was unnecessary and saw this as a way to thank the Admin's assistance.

[Ming Yu: Why?]

[Admin: When I appeared in front of Li Jun, I received a penalty and I need to meet the higher ups. . .]

[Ming Yu: gods?]

[Admin: Uhh. . . I guess they are?]

[Ming Yu: ?]

[Admin: Anyways ill be gone. Maybe a few months, Ill leave you a thorough list of things you should know since I don't trust your failing memory.]

[Ming Yu: "..."]

[Admin: Ill be leaving now! bye!]

------------Admin is offline.

Soon after it left with a ding* he received a notification on the top right of the interface that he received a message.

Ming Yu didn't feel like opening it yet and went back to his room. Because he couldn't use his legs, he needed to put strength on his arms to move himself out of his wheelchair and onto the bed. He didn't even break a sweat maybe because the body was used to it.

With a flop he laid down on his back and stared at the sky colored ceiling.

It reminded him of the clear blue sky whenever he rested his head on Li Jun's thigh each arrival of spring in their garden surrounded by wild flowers. When he closed his eyes he'd remember Li Jun's warm hands protecting them from the Sun's hurtful rays. When he raised his hand to move the palm away from his face, the first thing he would see was Li Jun's handsome face looking down at him with a loving smile. The other's long hair would tickle his trained and sensitive ears and Li Jun would kiss him saying that the look on his face was seducing him.

Remembering . . . made him cry.

Remembering made his numb heart beat in pain.

Remembering made him choke up and whimper, helplessly wiping the snot away from his face.

"Li Jun-" he mumbled repeatedly in-between his search for air.

Like a child he bawled his eyes out and loudly wailed, his mournful voice echoing inside the lonely apartment.

Li Jun.
