Avengers: Age of Ultron is the Marvel Studios film and the 11th film in the MCU that is written as directed by Joss Whedon and released in 2015. This was one of the most anticipated films of that year and the film is one that I have a love-hate relationship with.

The main Avengers cast returns as we see RDJ, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner who once again are great in their roles as they avenge stuff. Each one plays their part and hero perfectly, even if they're poorly written. Hawkeye stole the show as he had his moment to shine and the twist with the character that worked. We get introduced to new heroes as Aaron Johnson-Taylor and Elizabeth Olsen play Pietro Maximoff and Wanda Maximoff who did great in their roles. We also see Paul Bettany as Vision and he was great as he got more to do than just be a voice. The villain Ultron played by James Spader was done perfectly too.

The film is about the Avengers having to fight Ultron, an artificial intelligence created by Stark who wants to cause human extinction. The film has great visuals and cinematography. Another thing that is great is the fight scenes from the one in the beginning to the final battle as it's like they kicked it up a notch from the first Avengers film. Also what I love with the Avengers films are character interactions, team moments as it is fun seeing the team interact, joke, and argue.

This film has plenty of flaws. There is that awful Bruce and Nat relationship that was just f**king awful. The two do not have that type of chemistry together, it was forced in there. It could have easily been cut and it wouldn't change anything. Also the way Black Widow was written and being a damsel in distress and just written like she needed a man. Another thing is the death of a character who had a lot of potential.

Overall, I do not hate this film, I just disliked stuff in it. But with the Avengers scene avenging, it made it a fun film to watch. But at the same time, it's frustrating because of how certain characters were written.
