This is a reboot of the original movies made by Paramount and Nickelodeon. It's a fun Ninja Turtle Movie that was a fun watch and a worthy reboot of the series.
The cast in the film was great. Megan Fox was a great April O'Neil. The best April O'Neil in the live-action films if you ask me. Will Arnett was funny in the film. The Turtles and Splinter were great in the film. Johnny Knoxville voices Leo in this film, while it is odd it works. With them being CGI they could do more in this film which was perfect and fun with all the cool Turtle moments.
The story was interesting and entertaining. Seeing April with the Turtles was fun and all the Turtle fight scenes were fun to see. There were several scenes in the film that seemed like nods to the first original film which was fun to see. The film had lots of fun turtle moments. The CGI on the turtles and Splinter looked great. It looked pretty realistic which worked perfectly.
But this film has several flaws. I didn't like the origin story too much. Some stuff was similar to The Amazing Spider-Man with the whole serum ooze thing being released from a tower. And I wish it focused more on the Turtles than it did with April and Will Arnett's character. Shredder in like a Transformer suit was a bit questionable.
Overall it was a fun film. It is a worthy reboot as it does its own thing away from the originals but pays homage in a way with it as there are some similarities to it. I enjoyed the film and highly recommend it!
