Extraction is produced by the Russo Brothers and written by Joe Russo. It is Directed by the stunt coordinator of Captain America Civil War and Avengers Endgame, Sam Hargrave in which this is his directorial debut. And stars Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth. With all them involved it makes it a fun brutal action film.
The film stars Chris Hemsworth who was great in this film. He was a beast kicking ass. He is like a powerhouse kicking ass. He has proved that he can be an action star several times but with this film, it adds a whole new level of how badass he can be. The film has a strong supporting cast with most actors I never heard of and also there's David Harbour who all did amazing in the film. The film had great character moments too.
The Story and plot are simple and straightforward as it's a mercenary getting a boy out of the town but it has its twists with the characters. The film as Amazing action and camera work which makes the cinematography amazing in the film as some of the action scenes were done in one shot in which the director did some crazy camera work. All the fighting from the hand to hand, gorilla warfare, knife fights were just amazing and brutal.
I have one flaw with the film and there was some stuff that will make people a bit uncomfortable, and it could be a bit slow at times.
Overall it is a hard Rated R film so not many people will like it but to those who are a fan of these types of films will for sure enjoy it. I definitely did enjoy it and I definitely do recommend it.
