  "effie," i hear ana say from behind me. "you've gotten a text."

  i walk over to wear ana is, making sure that my dress doesn't get caught on anything that could rip or damage it.

  i quickly unlock my phone and see that i have a message from harry.

     from: harry .x

   Will you marry me?

   i cover my mouth so that my giggle isn't heard.

      to: harry .x

      Why should I?

  i text back, teasingly. i instantly get a reply back from him.

     from: harry .x

    Because I'm madly in love with you.

    i don't know how, but my smile widens.

    to: harry .x

  Of course, you're asking me to marry you over a text message. <3

  Great, now get your ass out here, and down this aisle before I drag you out here. (Plus it's freezing.)

  he has to be wearing a tux, it can't be that cold out.

Why am I wearing a dress, then?

God damnit, just get out here, Ms. Rivers.

   i don't respond to harry's text message. i tell ana that i'm ready to walk down the aisle, and she nods while linking arms with me.

   i just barely hear the whispers everyone outside. i really hope that i don't trip, i haven't had practice with these heels and my dress on.

   "you ready, effie?" ana asks.

   "yes, just yes."

   ana faces the bridesmaids, as i recognize as my other friends, and tell them to starting walking outside, and to follow down the white-carpeted aisle.

   i can just faintly make out harry's features, but i know he'll look just as handsome as he always does.

  i see ana give me a wink before walking before me.

  maybe, just maybe it was worth the guilt and saying no to harry's proposals. either way, i've ended up with the man i love; and i wouldn't have it any other way.
