A million thoughts ran through my head. The main one was, how many other officers are still alive and need our help. "Do we know if there is any other officers that are alive?" Leon looked at me "I have no idea, but we'll soon find out" Just as Marvin was going to say something, we hear crashes coming from library

I sigh "Shit. Who's gonna go investigate?" before Leon and I could decide, Marvin stepped in "I'll go. You and Leon have already been separated once tonight" "Alright, but be careful Lieutenant" "I will. You two protect each other out there" as Marvin walks off, he takes out his shotgun and loads it. Not knowing what's in going to be there

"Ok, so where do we go now?" Leon turns to me "Can I see that notebook Elliott left?" I hand him the notebook "He said there was a way out inside, so it has to be somewhere in here" Leon turns a few pages and comes across pictures of statues with what looks like medallions underneath them "Do you think they're our way out?" Leon studies the picture closer

"Yeah. I think we have to find these three statues, collect the medallions from them, and put them into the goddess statue over there and it reveals some sort of passage" I look around the room "Look, Leon, there's a statue over there, let's go see if we can get the medallion"

We head over to the statue and turn the sequence mechanism so that they're the same in the picture as in the notebook. The first medallion comes out Leon hands it to me "Here, you keep them safe" I put the medallion in my hip pouch and then we start to explore the rest of the station seeing if we can find any officers or clues

As we turn the corner I stop Leon from walking and point over to a door "Look, it's an officer" Leon takes out his gun "Ok, we're going to approach from behind, being very quiet. we'll leave a bit of a gap just incase they're turned" I nod and follow with what Leon says

"Excuse me officer?" I say with a clear voice. They turn around and I notice their face "Officer John Gray?" I see he's turned and he's reaching towards me. Leon raises his gun and I take out mine, as I raise my gun up, he already has me pinned to the ground. He's trying to eat my fuckin neck.

I yell "Get off me!" I try push him off but he's too strong "Even as a fuckin zombie he's strong" I go to try and push him again when I'm stopped by the sound of a gun shot and Officer Gray falling limp on me. I scream "Ew get him off" Leon helps me push him off and helps me to stand up

"Thank you" I say breathlessly "You're welcome" Leon grabs my hand and pulls me along with him. All that noise must've got more of the zombies attention. "Them things are gross" I say, wiping the blood off me. Leon let's go of my hand and turns to face me

"Let me help" he chuckles and uses his sleeve to wipe the blood off my face. I'd be blushing right now if it wasn't blood he was wiping off, or if I wasn't in a station full of zombies. Leon spots the second statue and goes over to get the medallion out

(Time Skip coz I'm tired ✌️)

e were getting closer to finding the last statue, we came across a few horrific looking creatures. We learned that they were called 'lickers' and that they were blind but they can hear very well. "There it is, the last statue" I then realised something "Oh fuck. we have to blow up the gate though. and there's a licker around. The licker dicker will hear it"

Leon then comes up with an idea "Ok here's what we do. We blow the gate up, get the medallion, and stick by the wall. You hold onto me. Got it?" I nod "Got it" Leon goes over and activates the detenator and stands back. He shields me from whatever debre flies everywhere. Leon gets the last medallion

Oh fuck. We hear the licker in the room. Leon grabs my hand and we slowly walk out and along the wall. We make it to the door and just as we're about to walk out, the licker gets me. I hiss in pain "Ah shit" Leon picks me up and runs as fast as he can into a safe room. He inspects my injury and gets a first aid spray

He tells me to brace myself "This might sting" he sprays the spray on my wound and I try not to scream. I silently hiss and before I know it, he's finished "You ok?" I nod "Yeah, just stings a little but I'm fine" "Come on, we have to get back to the main hall and put the three medallions into the goddess statue"

The walk back was a little more calmer than the walk up. We came across zombies but they were easier to dodge rather than the lickers. Finally back to a place I know. As I walk over to goddess statue I see Marvin lying on the sofa. I rush over to him "Lieutenant are you alright?" "I'm fine, it's just a scratch. I'm just resting"

I look at him, knowing it's a severe bite "Ok, well Leon and I are just a call away if you need anything" I go back over to Leon and hand him the medallions. When he put them into the slots, each level removed itself to reveal a set of stairs leading down "So it goes underground" Leon walks back over to the Lieutenant "This is good news, we can get you to a hospital"

Marvin disagreed straight away "No, I am not the priority here" Leon tried to fight back "But lieutenant, were not just gonna leave you here" "I'm giving you an order rookie! You save yourselves first!" Leon backs down and walks down through the door.

I follow close behind him, giving the lieutenant one last nod and smile. Leon turns to the slowly closing door "We won't let you down lieutenant" I go over and link arms with him "Hey, you tried to get him to follow us, but all he wants is for us to be safe and get help" Leon turns to me "Yeah I guess you're right"

We go down the elevator arm in arm, bracing ourselves for the nightmares that will await us later on in our travels.
