If Tomorrow Never Comes [IN PROGRESS]

Chapter 9

Alll I want to do is go to bed and sleep. Just cuddle with d/n and watch Netflix. I knew that I'd kind of be signing my social life away when I became an officer, just never thought I'd ever have to deal with something like this

"Do you think she'll help us later on?" Leon looks at me "I don't know, but I hope so. The sooner we get to the bottom of this, the better" He has a point. Also I don't want to be the girlfriend that gets jealous really easily. "So where do we go now?"

I looked around "Well the light ontop of that door is red, so it's probably locked. Let's go through this one" We walk through the door with the green light "Where do you think the key card will be?" "I've no clue but I hope it's somewhere close"

We're walking around until the both of us spot a hallway leading to a few jail cells. Leon checks the left side and I check the right side. I see something glistening inside the cell so I go over and have a closer look. I get distracted when I hear voices.

I turn my head and see Leon and some other dude I've never seen before talking to each other. I walk over "Who are you?" the man looks up at me "The names Ben, look you and your partner have to get me out of here" "I'm sorry we can't do that. We'd have to get the chiefs permission"

Ben scoffed "He's the one who locked me in here" Leon stepped forward "I'm sure he had good reason" "I have the key card yous will need to get out. Let me out and you can have it" I heard a weird noise so I walked away from them and went to inspect it

The next thing I knew was, there was screaming coming from the cell Ben was in. I looked over to see his head being crushed by some big giant gloved hand. I look over to Leon "what the fu-" I was interrupted by the woman from earlier "i thought I told you to leave" she walked straight over to Leon and ignored me

I walked in front of Leon "And I thought I told you to only talk to us if you're willing to work with us" she glared at me but ignored me and start talking to Leon "It's not safe for you. just go" she began to walk away when I grabbed her arm "If you aren't interested in helping us, leave, I don't care if you're FBI"

She pulled her arm out of my grasp "What's you're name at least. I'm Y/n and that's my partner Leon "get somewhere safe, then we'll talk. The names Ada" and with that she was gone, again. I turned around to see Leon with a shocked face

"What?" he smirks "You were jealous" "No I wasn't" yes I was "Ok whatever you say" We chuckle and keep walking. Even when we're in a situation like this, we can still have a little bit of a laugh and I like that

"Hey, Leon, look here" I point to an electrical looking box on the wall "Looks like we need electronic parts to control the power panel" I think for a second "Where the hell would they be?" "I have no idea, but we'll find them"

"And once we find them we put them in place, open up the gate and get the key card then we can be out in open air" "Sounds so quick and easy but it'll probably take ages" I never even thought about how long it would take. Fuck, I just wanna be out of here already

"Ok, I know we still have a lot to do in the station, but once we get out there, we'll have to have a plan. God knows how many zombies there are ready to kill us" We begin to walk and talk "Ok, so once we get the parts to open the gate, we get the card then we can leave"

"Once we're outside, we look for a way to get to Umbrella, and then who knows what'll happen" I nod "Let's hope we get better weapons then because if there's going to be any creatures like the one we fought earlier, then we'll need a shotgun or something"

"If we can get back into the station, there's a weapons locker that has a shotgun in it, but we need a card for that so it might be somewhere down here" (sorry if I'm not following along exactly like the story happens)

"Let's just hope it's a bit quieter down here" as I'm walking, I'm trying to plan out in my head how everything is gonna go down. If we can get the weapon key card, and then find a way into the station, then we can have the shotgun before going outside. Then we come back down here, find the power panel parts and open the cell, get the card then we're gone.

Sounds so easy, but I know it won't be "Ok, I've been planning everything out mentally" Leon looks over to me "Go ahead" "So if the weapon key card is down here, we get it, then we find a way back into the station" Leon nods "Ok" I continue

"Then we come back down here, find the power panel parts, put them where they need to go, open the cell, get the card and then we can open the gate" "Ok, sounds good" "Also while we're up there, we can pay Marvin a visit, see how he's doing" Leon looks at me "Do you think he'll turn because of the cut he has?" he asks. I feel my stomach turn I never thought about that

"To be honest Leon, I never even thought about it. I hope not, but we'll just have to see" "He's a fighter, I know he won't give up without a fight, I just wish he would let us find a way to the hospital so we could treat him" I nod "Me too, but that man can be stubborn when he wants to be"

We both chuckle. "Let's do one final look around this place, then we'll head into the next room and see if there's anything in there" We had a final look over the place, made sure not to miss anything. After we both checked it over, we found a couple of herbs and a box or two of handgun ammo.

"I can't wait until this whole thing is over and I can go home" Leon smiled "Me either. Aaybe when it's over, I can treat you to a proper dinner" I blushed "I wouldn't mind that" he chuckles and links his arm with mine. We both walk cautiously out of the jail and head towards another nightmare filled area. God, the nightmares never end

ok, so I'm sorry if it's not like the actual storyline. im kind of working backwards. and also, sorry if you feel like it's being dragged out and like no progress is being made. I'll try to make the next chapter more interesting
