Chapter 11

I was sitting waiting for Leon to come to the main hall. I had radioed for him to come down. Just as I was going to radio him and make sure he was ok, I heard his footsteps along the corridor "Leon I'm in here!" As soon as I saw him I run up and hug him. I was crying at this point "I had to kill him Leon, I didn't want to but I had to" I wasn't making any sense "Hey Y/n, calm down. Breath in and out like what I'm doing" Leon brought my hand to his chest and took a deep breath in and let it out, I followed what he was doing

"Now, tell me what happened" I took a deep breath "I came in and I didn't see Marvin. I-I was looking around to see if I could see him and he came at me out of nowhere. He turned and he had his arms up ready to grab me. I had no choice but to shoot" Leon had engulfed me into a hug "Hey, it's ok. you did what you had to do, I know you didn't want to but you had to. You're staying with me from now on"

I looked over at Claire, she had a look of sympathy on her face but also a slight look of jealously "This is why I wanted all of us to stay together" I whispered into Leon's ear "Can we leave her behind?" He let out a little chuckle and whispered back "I wish, she's been constantly nagging me and trying to impress me. But you're the only one who impresses me" I blushed a little and hid my face in Leon's chest. Claire cleared her throat "Shouldn't we get going?"

Leon and I both stood up but Leon kept his hand in mine. I smiled to myself "Right, let's go" I could see Claire glaring at me. That girl has got problems. I decided to try make conversation with her "So Claire what made you want to become a cop?" she looked like she didn't want to talk to me but she always loved to talk about herself "To look for my missing brother, Chris" "Any luck finding him?" "No, not yet" I kind of felt bad for her "Hey, I'm sure you'll find him"

(Time Skip)

I had to get away from Claire. She was driving me crazy, shooting down my ideas to come up with her own stupid ones. She was constantly flirting with Leon. He was having none of it but she didn't see that. "Hey Leon, I'm just gonna go look for herbs and ammo" "I'll go with you" Dang he really didn't want to stay with her "What about me?" "You have a gun, you see those things, you shoot" Leon took my hand and left as fast as he could "God she's a cop but you wouldn't think it" "How do I get her to stop flirting with me?" I chuckle "I would say show off our relationship, but I wanna live" he chuckles

"Why did we have to run into her?" "I guess the gods don't like us" We were both collecting ammo that we found when a shout interrupted us "LEON HELP ME!" "Ugh, what's wrong now?" "Let's go find out" We make it up to Claire to see what's wrong "What is it Claire?" "When you guys left, I head big heavy footsteps coming along the corridor, I hid in the locker there. I caught a glimpse of who it was. or more what it was" "What was it?" "it's skin was grey/blue and it was all wrinkly and he was huge" I look over to Leon "Let's go back to the main hall and see if there's anything on cctv"

"Glod idea. let's go" "you coming Claire?" she got up and pushed passed me "Yeah I am" I scoffed "Rude" We got back to the main hall and I had a look on cctv footage to see if I could see him "Hey Leon come look" Leon looked and sighed "Bet he's not part of the rescue team" "Probably not, no" "Ok, I've a plan" Leon turned to me "Go for it" "Right, so he's most likely and enemy, so when we go around exploring, we try to be as quiet as we can and don't shoot unnecessarily. Got it?" I looked over to Claire. she scoffed "Yeah whatever"

That's it I've had enough of her attitude "Look Claire, I don't know what you're problem is, but if you want to stay alive, you better follow mine and Leon's orders. We didn't save you to fucking babysit you. You're a cop, you have the skills to kill those fuckeres out there, so use them skills and kill them. Don't rely on me or Leon to help you, because there will be a time where you will have to fend for yourself" Both Leon and Claire looked shocked. I thought Leon was disappointed at my outburst but then he smirked

Claire went of sulking like a kid who was just given out to "I think you handled that pretty well" "You think so?" "Yeah, you told her off. Someone had to do it" "That's true" I look around and don't see Claire "Guess we have to find her" "you sure? I mean we can always leave her behind. As you said, she can fend for herself" I thought about it. "Yeah that's true" Just so she doesn't hate me even more, I'm going to leave a note 'Claire, Leon and I decided to go on. Please don't die on us. If you do come across zombies or that big dude, run or shoot. Don't shoot unnecessarily and please, stay safe'

"Come on, let's go" Leon and I were walking down the corridor when we heard big heavy footsteps. We both looked at each other "Shit. Run!"

(Claire's Pov)

I was pissed at Y/n. I don't know why but I was. I told Leon about my encounter with the big dude then he and Y/n went to check out the cctv. then Y/n went on about being quiet and not shooting blah blah blah. I didn't really care so I didn't pay attention. Then she directed the next part to me "So when we go round exploring, we try to be as quiet as we can and don't shoot unnecessarily. got it?" She looked over to me. I scoffed "Yeah whatever"

I don't need them. I can do this on my own. I gather myself and load up my guns. I make sure I have good health items before I leave. I go back to where Y/n and Leon were just to see if they left anything behind. I see a note of the table, I pick it up and read it 'Claire, me and Leon decided to go on. Please don't die on us. (Your Pov)

Leon and I are running from that big dude. "I think we lost him" "Yeah me too" I sit down, trying to get my breath back. I wonder if Claire's ok. She may be a bitch but she's still my colleague. "So where to now? We're still in the station and no closer to finding the last electronic part" "Then let's keep looking. I have a feeling I know where it is"

another chapter done. I might get another one up tonight if I'm not too tired. also, I know Claire isn't a bitch in the game, but we need a bit by character. personally I love Claire but she's a good candidate.
