Chapter 10

As Leon and I were walking, I found a map in an old box. "Hey Leon look, it's a map of where we are" Leon looked at it "Because we're so close to it, we can head to the mourge" I've never been in a mourge but I guess there's a first time for everything "Oh fun" I say sarcastically "Yeah I'm not best pleased with that either but hopefully it will give us something"

I let Leon deal with the bodies while I kept watch and killed the zombies that were trying to kill us "Hey Y/n, it's safe, they're all dead. I mean like fully dead" I chuckle a little and walk in. "Ok so what exactly are we looking for?" "Anything that can help us along our travels" "If we find a power panel part or the garage gate key I'll be happy"

After a while of searching, we found nothing useful except for a few herbs. "Great so nothing in this room" I sigh sigh "Let's just keep looking, there has to be something somewhere" I'm very cautious when I move around because I don't want to make noise and attract the zombies, I don't think Lickers are around this part of the station

As you were walking your mind started to wander "Hey, Leon, do you think d/n will be ok?" he looked at me for a second "I do. My house is secure so nothing will get in, I don't know how long we'll be gone for, but I did fill d/n's food and water bowl up before we left this morning" I looked a little more relived

Leon found the first power panel part so we went back and put that in the power panel. All we need to do now is get the key card. Oh and find a way back into the station. If I remember correctly, it's a set of stairs that connects the basement part of the station, to the rest of it. I just can't remember where the stairs are"
Once we find the way back to the station, then we'll get moving faster "I know that it's a set of stairs, but I can't remember where they are"

(Time Skip because im lazy)

After a while, Leon and I finally found the stairs back to the station. "Do you wanna split up or stick together?" He asks "If we split up we can explore more places, but also splitting up can be dangerous so let's stick together" Just up ahead of the corridor there was a safe room. I think this safe room has a dark room I can develop the rolls of film either of us get

I hear a snarling noise from outside the door "Looks like we've got company" I take my gun out of the holster and slowly head towards the door. I open the door but don't shoot just incase it's a non zombie. "Claire?" "Oh great "Y/n, you have to help me!" As much as I wanted to scream in her face for what she did, I don't want her in danger "Come in Claire, we were sorting some stuff out before heading off"

"We?" "yeah, me and Leon" I see her slightly fix herself up. that bitch. I clear my throat "You ready to go Leon?" "Yeah, I've got everything with me" If she tries to make a move on Leon, I swear, I'll loose it with her. I push past her to leave the room. "Ok, so we need to find the weapons key card, I don't suppose you know where to find it Claire?" I see here looking at Leon "Claire?!" "Ohat? Oh no sorry i don't" Bitch "Ok, and I wanna go check on Marvin"

Claire said something that made me want to kill her "Hey, because there's three of us we can split up" I stepped in "Yeah-" "Y/n, you can go see Marvin and Leon and I can go find the weapons key card" I look over to Leon. He was going to disagree with Claire but she pulled him away in the oposite direction. If she even tries to make a move on him I'll kill her myself and make it look like and accident

(Leon's Pov)

Before I could disagree with Claire and tell her we all should stick together, she grabbed me and dragged me away from Y/n "I was so traumatised, they were chasing me" Oh god she's so dramatic "Earlier on today, Y/n almost got killed by officer Gray who was turned" I could see Claire smirk but then drop it "Oh no, she must have been scared" "Yeah, it was scary for me to watch, so god knows how scared she felt" I decided to make it clear that me and Y/n were together. I just hope she sees the hints I'm dropping

"What we're you doing when this whole thing first happened?" Got to brace myself for a boring story "Well I was working on files and I was on my break. It was an ok few hours then out of nowhere, everything was crazy. What were you doing?" she asked, but she made it sound flirty. Ugh. "Well, Y/n and I were on patrol, then that was our first encounter with them. It was a noise complaint. Y/n went in and did her thing and then it tried to kill her but she killed it first. She was so badass. Then we went out for dinner"

Claire had a look of jealousy on her face but it was mixed with anger "so are you and Y/n together?" I smirk "Not officially" If looks could kill, I'd be dead already "Right we need to keep moving, we got to get the key card and get back to Y/n" "Yeah let's go"

(Your Pov)

Finally I get back into familiar territory. I'm pissed at Claire for doing that, but I'm not mad at Leon. I could see he didn't want to leave. I wonder will he tell Claire that we're together if the topic comes up. I hope so. Once I get into the main corridors of the station, I slowed down walking a little. I hope Marvin's ok. I knew that it was a zombie bite he had, which is why he didn't want to come with us.

I walked into the main hall and called out his name "Marvin?" I waited a few seconds.. nothing- I called again "Marvin?!" I run to where we last saw him. When he stood up I could see he turned, I screamed a little. He came towards me with his arms raised ready to grab me. I reluctantly take out my gun and raise it to him, my hands are shaking and I start to cry a little. I look away and shoot. Then it's silence

I look up to see him in the floor, lifeless. I cry a little more and take my walkie-talkie and radio for Leon "Leon, its Y/n, I-I need you to come to the main hall right away" I could hear Claire in the background but I didn't care "I'll be there right away Y/n, sit tight. Leon, out" I decide to sit on the opposite side that Marvin was on. I sit with my knees up to my chest waiting for Leon to get here
