The two stood beside each hand in hand staring at the sky. It had been weeks since the accident, since he lost his friend and himself. Ever since the accident she was working over time for their relationship. Things weren't the same he barely talked to her and he spent most of his nights out handling business. "Shamar?" She looked in his eyes. Just by looking in his eyes you could tell that he was empty.

"Yea?" He answered dryly.

"I love you."

He let go of her hand clearing his throat with that he walked back into the apartment. She marched right behind him. "What's your problem do you not love me? Is that it?" She bombarded him with questions.

"There is money to be made i don't have time fa' this."

"Money this money that! Is that all you care about Shamar? Huh?"

"I'm not sayin' that."

"Then what are you saying? Please tell me because I'm confused!"

"I just lost my friend a couple weeks ago Bree! I'm saying i don't need your shit! Y'know I love you, you don't need me to say that!"

"Yes I do! Ye-yes i need you to say it Shamar." Her voice cracked "Because if you don't I'm gonna keep doing this to myself Shamar!" She pulled down the sleeves on her shirt finally exposing her wrist.

He paused staring at all of disturbing cuts on her arm. There was nothing he hated more than self harm it was stupid. In his opinion people who even thought about suicide were selfish and didn't think about how other people would be affected by them killing themselves. No one should take matters into their hands taking the breath God gave them away. It was all his opinion.

"What the fuck Bree!" His voice boomed causing her to flinch. "The fuck is wrong with you!" He grabbed a hold of her arm. His eyes raked her bruises as if they were staring back at him.

"I should've never showed you this now you probably think I'm crazy."

However there was no thinking she was crazy. He was already convinced that she mentally ill. From the day she murdered that man. Now it was impossible to leave her she'd lash out on him. There was no one or anything that made him afraid but he was afraid of her.

"You ain't answering my question Bree! Why you do this shit!"

"Because of you Shamar! I don't know what i would do without you I know you'll leave me someday and i don't know what I'll do when you do."

"But if you cheat on me I'll kill you and the bitch I swear." She stared at him before flashing a smile.

"Don't say shit like that Bree. Your life ain't supposed to stop when people leave you supposed to move on."

"Ok i know that and i've never had a problem with moving on but how am i supposed to move on from you? We did things that are unforgettable.." she trailed off "Things that will trap us together, things that will leave a stain on us."

"Yea I know that but in this life that i live i could die any minute." He paused "Shit i almost died in the accident." He shook his head. "I feel like I'm walking near death and someday I'm gonna buck up."

"I don't know when and i don't know how but its coming."

He's been on edge ever since the accident and she finally knew how he felt. She wrapped her arms around him holding him as tight as she could've. "I'm scared Bree."
