"Codsworth, do you think he's alright? He's taking forever." I asked, laying down on my back on the couch. Nate had told Codsworth to come back to Sanctuary because he had ran into some trouble in Concord. "I'm sure Sir is fine, after all he did go through military training." "I'm sure your right, as always, I hope he gets here so-"
"Y/n! I'm back and I've got someone with me!" Nate yelled from outside. I jumped up and grabbed my gun from the coffee table, just in case. I walk out only to be tackled by something furry. "Dogmeat! Come on boy, get off of her!" Nate laughed at the German Shepherd that was now licking my face. Dogmeat finally got off of me and stood beside Nate, wagging his tail. It took me a secound glance to realize what Nate was in.
"Holy crap! Where did you get this beauty?!" I asked, running over to him and looked over it. "This looks like a T-45 model." I continued "The same place I found these guys" Nate said, stepping aside to reveal a small group of people. A black man stepped forward, he was wearing a patriotic hat with a matching coat. "The name is Preston Garvey, one of the last minutemen." He said, sticking his gloved hand out for me to shake. " My name's Y/n, it's a pleasure to meet you." I then gave him a firm handshake.
"So this is the famous Y/n Nate talked about on the way here." An old woman said in the group of people that came with Preston. "Wait, what?" "Hehe, don't mind Mama Murphy, she takes Chems." Preston said, turning to the old woman, whispering something inaudible.
"I helped them out, held up in an old museum by some raiders. They plan to set up a settlement here in Sanctuary and I told them I would help out when we get back from Diamond City." "Diamond City?" I questioned "Yup, Preston said if we are going to find any help, it'll be there."
