Prince's POV

"Do you remember anything?"

Desire approaches Morris at the bar and he immediately hands her a drink. After taking a long swig, she speaks up, "what's the occasion?"

"I need you to do me a favor. Well, a friend of mine a favor." Another long sip.

"Is it Jerome again? I told him no."

"Nah, Stella. It's Prince." She looks up from her drink and focuses on Morris' face.

"Prince? Wouldn't think this was his scene."

"It isn't; I just wanted to get him out of his house. Thought me favorite girl could help him out." He runs his hand up her thigh finally resting it in the curve of her hips.

"What's he looking for?"

"Just a dance. He's pretty tame, but don't worry. I'll come make it wild if you want me to."

"What's in it for me?" Morris leans in.

"I paid Tony for the dance but I'll throw in my usual tip to make it worth your while."

"You know the deal. Pay upfront." He places a stack of fifty dollar bills in her hand. Tucking it away, she agrees and leaves to her private room.

Prince sits in the corner slowly sipping a cocktail. A gentle knock on the door signals his attention. His eyes rise to see a beautiful woman with long jet black hair and piercing brown eyes. A sharp knock on the door breaks his daze.

Desire opens it and is met with a gust of white powder. A familiar feeling comes over her and she begins to feel free. Closing the door she saunters up to Prince. She dances for him twirling her body and caressing it. He pulls her close and she grinds to the music blasting outside the door. He moves the hair from in front of her eyes and holds her face. Then, they share a lust-filled kiss.

One thing leads to another but not in the way you'd think. The cocaine quickly makes her paranoid. She jumps from his lap and back into the wall.

"I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have..." Prince mutters getting up from his seat.

"He's coming. I know he is. He always does after he drugs me."

"Drugs you? What's going on?"

"He likes when I can't remember. It gives him the freedom to do whatever he wants."

"Who?"

"Tony, the owner my boyfriend."

"Desire. You can't live like this."

"Desire can, but Desirée Thompson can't."

"Is that your name?" She nods.

"I just want to be her again. Desirée Thompson had goals and aspirations. She had plans, big ones but then she was stripped of her family, her happiness, her will to live and, well, I'm all that's left."

"If he treats you so badly then leave him."

"I want to, desperately but, I have nowhere else to go."

"Maybe you..." An aggressive knock interrupts his thought and he is swiftly ushered away. The door is shut and a loud thud can be heard from the other side.

"Sir, please come with me. The boss needs to speak with her."

"Not really."

"You gave me a dance, we kissed but you panicked and started telling me everything."

"That explains a lot. Are you sure you want me to stay here? I'll only bring you trouble."

"I just want you to be safe."

"You know if Tony ever finds me he'll kill us both."

"I'll protect you. He can't hurt you anymore."
