Tylers POV
It was gameday and i was more nervous than usual. I got to Rupp early putting up extra shots. Emma and i barely talked she seemed preoccupied yesterday night. I wonder with what. I had tried calling her earlier but no answer. Maybe Pj is right I should be careful.
"Hey bro your phone" Keldon held it up showing it was ringing.
I ran over grabbing it.
T= Hey Emma
E= Hey, i wanted to let you know ill be at the game
T= Okay, i cant wait to see you
She hesitated
E= Yeah you too, i have class now. See you later
T= Bye
She hung up and i set it down.
I put up more shots trying to not think about it. I kept missing and everyone seemed to notice.
"Herro get it together" Coach Cal said.
"Im trying coach"
"Whats up man?" Pj asked.
"Nothing"
"Emma?"
"Yeah, shes coming but something up"
"You think she lied to you?"
"I dont know Pj, i hope not"
Emmas POV
I headed to the game with Mia and her boyfriend. I wore a kentucky basketball shirt and black athletic leggings. My hair was curly too. We got to the arena and i sat in my seat, the front again. I checked my phone my flight was an early one at 4 in the morning so i was hoping i would at least get a little sleep before leaving. Tyler hadnt came out yet but everyone else was. I noticed Pj and he waved to me. The other boys came around to Pj probably asking who i was. I called Pj over and he came.
"Where is Tyler?"
"Are you seeing someone Emma?" Pj asked.
"No not really"
"Thats not a for sure no"
"Its nothing for Tyler to worry about"
"You tell him that then" Pj said leaving as Tyler came over.
"Dont worry about me Tyler, if something is going on i would tell you"
"Then why were you so preoccupied last night"
"Im going to Michigan to see my friend Shea"
"Shea Patterson the QB?"
"Yes, no we arent dating im not that interested in him"
"But you are a little" Tyler looked down.
"Im more into you than i am him" I leaned in saying it a little bit quieter so we could only hear.
"Really" He tried to hide a smirk forming.
"I wouldnt say it if its not true"
"Okay" He smiled making me smile.
"You better go warm up"
"Yeah, ill see you later right?"
"I mean i came here to see you so yeah"
