Jhené

As Michael is waiting for me downstairs, I'm in my room deciding what to wear for our date. I'm nervous as hell right now, and I don't even know what to wear.

Maybe I should wear my not too short red dress.

No, that's a bit too much.

I should just go casual, it's not like we're going on an actual date.

It's just a friendly gesture, nothing more.

I then walked out of my room and back downstairs to find Michael looking at some pictures on the wall.

"Michael?" He spins around with his hands in his pockets. He bites down on his bottom lip and narrow his eyes at me.

"You're not dressed." He stares intensely at me. I looked down, tucking my hair behind my ear.

"Yeah... I know." I cleared my throat and looked back up at him, as he's staring straight into my eyes.

"What's wrong?" He asked, concerned.

"I-I just wanted to know where we we're going... because I don't know what to wear." I trail off, looking down at the floor again. He chuckles.

"Want me to help you pick out something to wear?" He asked. I looked up at him.

"Yeah..."

"Sure. Lead the way."

As I'm walking downstairs, I feel even more nervous that I am and I don't even know why. I then opened my door to my room and turned around to face him, smiling nervously.

"Uh... well this is my room." I breathe out. He smiled widely.

"Wow. You have a beautiful room, Jhené." He says, staring at me intensely, making my heart skip. I look away from his stare and turned around, making my way to my closet.

"Should I wear this..." I said, showing him my dark blue dress.

"Well you can't because after our dinner date, I plan on taking you to the club. So wear something that is suitable for a restaurant and for a club."

"Hmm.." I browse through my closet again and smiled when I found the perfect dress for our night. I turned around and almost scream out when I saw how close he was standing next to me. I let out a heavy sigh and he smirks.

"Did I scare ya?"

"M-Maybe a little bit. So, what about this one?" I asked, as I show him the dress that I had bought weeks ago. He looks at it then at me giving me that look again.

Does he really have to stare at me like that?

He is so beautiful.

"Jhené... Jhené." Michael's calls out as he waves his hands in front of my face. I snapped out of my thoughts and pulled my attention back to him as a blush creeped on my face as I get embarrassed.

"Sorry..." I said, looking down. He chuckles and caressed the side of my face. I shivered at his touch and closed my eyes, sighing softly. His touch is so magical.

Why does he have such an effect on me?

"It's alright gorgeous, now can you please get dressed before were late?" He ask, smiling a bit. I nod my head frantically.

"Y-Yeah... I'll get ready now." He smiled and watch as I walked out the room.

Damn, I almost forgot how to breathe for a second.

An Hour Later...

We get to the restaurant and Michael pulled my chair out for me. Once we're seated, I looked down at the menu booklet in front of me. I shift around a little uneasy in my chair because I could literally feel Michael's eyes just staring at me.

Why does he make me so nervous?

My palms are all sweaty, my hands are shaking and my heart is pounding in my chest. I wouldn't be surprised if it beats it's way out of my chest, and then my stomach keeps doing flips as more butterflies invade my stomach.

"So... Jhené." Michael say, breaking the silence. His voice alone makes my heart beat so fast.

"...Tell me about yourself." He smiled softly. I looked up at him, smirking.

"I already did. Now it's your turn to tell me about you." He gives me a look, then look away from me.

Wait, did I say something wrong? Oh my god.

Jhené just tell him more about yourself. At least he wants to know more about you. No man has ever showed interest in knowing the real you.

"Well, you just told me a little information." He says, looking down at his menu booklet as he reads through it.

"But I want to know more about you because something about you interest me. I don't know what it is, but..." He looks up at me, giving me that intense stare again.

Oh god, my panties!

"Maybe I just find you mysterious. You're so gorgeous, Jhené. I don't understand how a gorgeous woman like yourself don't have a man in your life."

I swear I'm about to pounce on him, right here, right now.

"I just had so many bad relationships in the past, and just decided to stay a single woman." I admit truthfully. He nods.

"Yeah I know, but why would anyone want to hurt such a gorgeous, smart young lady like yourself?" He asked. I instantly blushed on cue.

"Why are you single? You're a handsome guy, and I'm pretty sure the girls go crazy over you." I smirk. He chuckles.

"I'm not all that..." He blushes. I give him a look.

"Are you crazy? You're fucking hot, Michael- I mean, you're a handsome man. I can't believe that you don't have a girlfriend, and I was actually surprised that a guy like you would want to get to know a girl like me."

"Why do you say that?" He asked.

"I've never been approached by a guy like you before. My thing is, I think I attract assholes. Hopefully you're not one, right?"

"Not I'm not and..."

He takes a deep breath and looks down, as if he has to reveal a deep, dark secret to me. I look at him in confusion as he doesn't know what to say. He then finally looks up at me and speaks the next words that made my heart flutter.

"I would really like to make you my girl..."
