Chapter 13: In My Mind

"You're firing me?!?"

"Yes."

My mouth dropped, because of his answer.

"But I'm working very well and my work always went off smoothly. Tell me the main reason please!"

Taehyung sighed as he looked into my eyes.

"Jennie wants to fire you"

I bit my lip to prevent myself from exploding and soon I relaxed my soul as I sighed heavily.

"I understand..." I said in a low voice not enough energy for me to talk.

Taehyung nodded and gave me a white envelope that contains money for my hard work. I actually didn't work for money, I worked for experience and to improve my cooking skills...

This day is disappointing.

"I'm back..." I whispered shouted and I saw Jungkook rushing to me in a blink of an eye.

"Noona! You're back so early..." He stopped talking as felt the atmosphere get sad. He was seeing the details on my face inch by inch.

Jungkook's eyes squinted and his face became sad as he noticed that I was wearing a frown on my lips.

"What's wrong noona?" Jungkook asked.

"I got fired..." I sighed avoiding eye contact.

"Noona...  Did it hurt when they put fire on you?"

"What???" I asked before I bursted out into Laughter.

"Noona, why are you laughing?"

"I didn't get on fire kook..." I said as I pat his head.

"Noona... you just made my heart flutter by calling me kook..." Jungkook smiled softly.

"Koo-"

"Noona if you call me that again I might not control myself this time and I might kiss you in no time."

"Uhh... noted."

"I want to show you my painting noona!" Jungkook said excitedly as he pulled me inside the bedroom.

"Look!" Jungkook exclaimed as he pointed at the canvas.

"Where did you learn how to paint like this?" I asked walking towards the painting.

"I don't know... I just painted what picture flashes on my mind." I stared at him as he said that.

"I'm in your mind?" I asked as I feel my heart beating three times faster.

"Everyday, everytime, anywhere, always" Jungkook smiled.
