I was born in a burst of light
A giant explosion in space
I was nothing then I was something
Hundreds of glittering diamonds stuck in the sky
They reflected off my eyes casting a glow on to you
I showed you my stars
My most vulnerable parts
I was a galaxy
Yet you ripped me open for your benefit.
Touched my stars, broke them in pieces
Left me open to drain away
Feelings coming and going
Now my galaxy is gone
And I am left a dark dreary night without you.
