She reminds me of summer
She paints every story in vivid colors
Making sunsets dull in comparison

Like how the sun changes tint when it makes its slow escape from view
Her stories vary from being painstakingly beautiful to undeniably hilarious in matters of seconds

Her voice, soothing enough to captivate you and strong enough to pull you under and drown you
How her laughs drew me in like the tide and the way she turned serious in an instant crashed over me like the waves

Looking at her as she goes on is like looking at a star strewn night
Her smile brighter than everything in the sky
It was like the constellations saw she was more and dulled to give her the light she deserved

She acts and moves as though thunderstorms are at her finger tips
Ready to strike at her every command she demands attention when she walks in a room
You overlook her and do not notice her beauty until she strikes
Each word coming from her mouth punctuated with the thunder that escapes from deep within her

She has the power to make you feel at ease
The heaviness you feel diminishing to feather light weight at a simple glance
She has the ability to make heat rise to your cheeks without a single touch
How she makes the fire inside you burn hotter than you can handle

Even when the wind picks up
And that fire starts to go out
When the rain begins to fall
And temperatures drop
You think of her and it does not matter because the warmth you feel because of her overlooks the cold you feel when she is gone.
