Lady Lena's POV

My Father was of complete humble birth and was born to an average blacksmiths family in a small village

But thanks to two factors my Father was able to rise in status eventually gaining the title "divine doctor"

The first factor was none other than his extraordinary medical skills

Where my Father gained all this knowledge and skills is unknown even to myself, however no matter the reason I am still his daughter and he is my beloved Father

Nothing will ever change that fact

Secondly was my Fathers abnormally powerful water magic

Out of all the elements, water is the best and most associated with healing thus these two factors added together made him a skilful doctor

However, despite all the praise and fame my Father stayed humble

No matter their status or wealth, my Father would treat everyone fairly and justly

He never took more money than we needed and instead of hiring tutors to teach me how to properly drink tea and walk, he instead taught me many life lessons many of which I treasure to this day

He was my only parent and my biggest role model

I loved him so, so dearly and miss him greatly

But even the "divine doctor" cannot beat death

As my Father grew older and older his health started to slowly fade

Eventually, it got to the point he could no longer be a doctor and thus he retired quietly

But my Father was worried about none other than me

I was still quite young then and did not know how to handle the world by myself

My Father had always been by my side guiding and protecting me

But death is unavoidable and unfortunately, my Fathers time was nearing

In the past, my Father and I would travel a lot to treat the sick and those in need of help

During one of our travels, we encountered a young boy seriously wounded and on the verge of death

With clear pale skin, shining white hair and spellbinding red phoenix eyes, the young boy was unbelievably attractive and handsome

I was enchanted by his deity-like appearance

How could a human be so good looking? I am a woman and I myself am completely envious of his beauty!

Naturally, my Father and I saved the beautiful young boy

We spent a week nursing him until he one day suddenly left leaving nothing but a note with the words "Thank you" written on it elegantly

But that was all it took, all it took for me to fall in love with him

He was unnaturally quiet and aloof, he spoke few words and had a cold and icy aura around him

I myself have no clue on why I fell in love with this unknown boy

Was it his unparalleled appearance? That was what first enchanted me but not what made me fall in love

I could see the complicated look in his eyes, the loneliness, the sadness, I could see everything

That is in fact what made me fall in love with him

What kind of tragedies did he go through to have such beautiful yet miserable eyes?
