As I lie in bed I look around my new room and smile, I hate that she isn't here but I can see touches of Skye all over this room, our room. One day I'm going to buy her a house and it'll be our little haven. Next week Skye is getting her tattoo and I'm having her name on me, she's my partner in crime and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her, making her laugh every single day.
I wake up and hear my cell ringing from the nightstand, I pick it up and see Skye's picture on my screen
"Couldn't sleep so you wanted to hear my beautiful voice huh?" I say as I answer the call
"Circuit?"
"Cat? What's happened? Is Skye ok?" I say panicked as I rush from the bed and grab my clothes
"They took her." She replies and I freeze, I knew I should've stayed with her, how could I let her be on her own, I'm supposed to protect her. I need to find her, fast.
"Who? Who took her Cat?" I say as I pull on my boots and grab my keys and my gun
"They hurt your friend, I don't understand what's happening." I can hear she is crying
"Stay there, I'm coming Cat, I'll be right there." I say before ending the call and jumping on my bike
"Killer, they took Skye. I'm heading to her moms now." I say as soon as Killer answers the call but I don't wait for an answer before stuffing my phone in my pocket and tearing out of the lot.
I pull up on the driveway, push out the kickstand and run to the front door
"Cat it's me Circuit, open the door." I shout and within seconds the door flies open to reveal Cat, holding a towel against her face
"Oh man, tell me what happened Cat." I say as I close the door behind me
"Two men came in shouting one grabbed me the other grabbed Skye. When one hit me she shouted to punish her instead for killing their brother. Were they Danny's brothers?" She asks as I help her sit on the couch
"I think so, they threatened her not long ago, I was trying to protect her from them." I say, I don't want to tell her everything I can already see she's in shock
"What will they do to her?" She cries turning to me
"I'm going to find her, Where's Jack?" I ask
"Your friend? He's in his truck, he's bleeding, I tried to move him but he's too big." She says tears now mixing with the blood on her cheeks
"Ok here's what we're going to do, go and grab some clothes, I'm going to check on my friend and then you're coming with me to my clubhouse."
"I need to be here, in case she comes back." She replies
"No you need to be where I can keep you safe in case they come back for you. Go and pack." I say as she stands up I hear a motorcycle pull up outside the house
"Oh my god, are they back?" She panics
"No, it's my club president, go pack we're leaving in 5." I say as I head to the front door to greet Killer.
"What the fuck happened?" Killer says as he walks towards Jack, still sitting in the drivers seat of the truck.
"Dominic and Damien, roughed up her mom and took Skye." I say as I stand beside him. He opens the truck door and Jack is unconscious, blood coming from a wound on his head.
"I'm taking Cat back to the clubhouse with me then I'm going to find these fucks and rip them apart." I just pray they don't hurt Skye before I can find her. The only thing keeping me from completely losing it is that I will find them, I will save her and then I will kill them. A cop car pulls up outside the house and I groan, nothing will slow us down like the damn police getting involved
"Don't worry I got this." Killer says as he turns towards the officer
"Sheriff Gibson, how you doing brother?" Killer smiles as Sheriff Gibson turns towards him
"Killer? What you doing out here, I got a call about a disturbance, just checking it out. How's Cordelia? My wife won't shut up about that fundraiser last year." Sheriff says, thank god this guy is on our side and won't get in the way. I see Cat come out of the house and run to grab her bag
"Take the truck, I'll get prospects to come get your bike and secure the house, I'm right behind you." Killer says before turning back to his conversation with the sheriff. I push Jack over to the passenger seat, help Cat into the truck and jump into the drivers seat, heading for the clubhouse.
Ace and Socket carry Jack inside as Cordelia walks up to me
"She'll be ok Circuit, we'll get her back." She says stroking my arms before pulling me in for a hug
"Hi Cat, I'm Cordelia, I'm a nurse, mind if I check you over, make sure you're ok?" She says as she wraps her arm around Cats shoulders and guides her towards the clubhouse.
"Everyone to church now. Ace, Avery go to this address and pick up Circuits bike." Bullet announces before handing them a piece of paper, they head straight out to the lot. Every member has been called in and is in the bar ready
I grab my laptop and head for church
"Killer is on his way back, apparently Sheriff Gibson is offering his help if we need it. I'm sure you've heard the Kearney brothers have taken Skye. We need to find her before they hurt her and we are going to kill these fuckers because apparently they are too stupid to stay away." Bullet says, but I don't look up from my laptop as I begin trying to find them. I hack into the local traffic cams and see if I can get a hit on the plates for their bikes, then I find the cameras closest to Cats house and begin reviewing for any sign of them.
"I've got a hit." I say as I pause the traffic cam.
"This grey van goes in and 20 minutes later out, the time is right around when Cat called me for help. This has to be them." I say as I turn on the big screen
"Track them Circuit. Everyone get your weapons and be ready to leave as soon as we get an address." Bullet says dismissing church.
"Fuck." I roar as I punch the wall of my office, I lost them on the traffic cams, I can't find her. I have to find her.
"Where we at?" Killer asks briefly looking at the new hole in my wall before turning to me
"I lost the van, I don't know where they took her." I slump back in my chair and scrub my hands down my face
"Where did you last see the van?" Ace asks from behind Killer
"Last location was turning off of church street and heading out of the town. They could've gone anywhere." I groan
"I got in touch with the guys I used to hang with and they said about a warehouse, the brothers and some friends used to get high in, pull up the map." Ace says stepping around Killer. I pull it up and point at the last known location
"The warehouse is here, it's a possibility." Ace says
"Load up, we're heading out." Killer roars as he walks into the bar
"Circuit." Cordelia calls as I grab my gun and head to through the bar
"I gave Cat something to help her sleep, she's in shock, I put her up in an empty room, I'll keep an eye on her. Go get your girl." She says and I nod before I follow my brothers out to our bikes.
