You stared at the collection of things outside Ruby's house. She was a good friend sure .. to the others but you and her were never close. You just never had the opportunity to.
Holidays was hectic. Hospital visits. Funeral attendance. Santos-Prophet$ alliance witness. So a lot of stress was put on you and the only person who figured it out was Cesar so he helped you let loose. More than once. Those were the fun parts of the holidays.
"Hey Y/N."
You turn back to find the whole gang behind you. You smile briefly and they stand beside you looking at the stuffed teddy bears and whatnots.
"Another year."
"We need to stick together more than ever."
"We will," Monse says as she leans in and kisses Cesar.
And just like that all the fun parts of the holiday became a memory in our minds.
