"Yeah, which one's the A key?" Clem questioned the tall freakled boy. teasing Clementine on how not to tune a piano.
"Aha! C'mon it was a little funny, your face when you blew on the strings." Louis blurted, "It was so cute.." he thought to himself.
"Wow, aha I can't believe I fell for that." she smiled, looking at the boy before her getting a good look at his figure when he played a little tune from earlier.
"First time played, we should mark the occasion." Louis comments taking out a knife carving into the wood of the old and worn instrument. After carving his initial he gently handed the knife to Clem. Clementine wasted no time carving hers and additional heart circling them both.
She smiled gently to the dread headed boy, handing him back the knife.
"Oh..Ah that's a...a heart, sweet that's super cool~ really cool~" Louis responds, fidgeting a little shifting himself by sitting up straight, taking a deep breath.
"Time to get serious.." Louis exhaled bracing himself for what's to come.
"So Clem, thank you for coming here, blowing on the strings, putting you through this situation between us and the raiders. I wanted to say I'm glad you came back, to help us fight and defend for ourselves. But y'know how everyone hears the jokes and the games and after that, they stop listening, you didn't.." Louis muttered off trying to hide his obvious signs of blushing, looking into Clem's eye's smiling, hoping that she'd somehow see if his message had gone through to her.
"You know I've noticed you looking at me, I'm not sure if you're still mad at kicking you out..." he sighed.
Clementine's eyes soften up, clutching her heart chocking up the lumpy feeling in her throat trying to look for the right words. She managed gazing to the side.
"So um..Louis..I like you a lot. As..more than a friend..I was never mad at you when AJ had to atone for his actions. I had a burning feeling about you as a person since I've been back.." Clem poured her words out to him, squeezing her thighs together, looking up at him with all the feeling she had left to express.
"So..You did have feelings for someone during the game.. That's why you went silent." He smiled tilting his head to the side looking back at Clem who seemed to be staring intently back at him.
Clementine starts to flush red in the face, tensing up as she stutters her choice of words.
"Louis, I...I don't think I've felt like this to anyone...But I see you and I can't help but smile, it makes me feel like I fit in and that you're there beside me." Clem confessed.
"I won't let the raiders take my family away from me, too much has already been. I love every joke you spurt out and your games make me feel human in this shitty apocalypse...Even if everyone doesn't see it that way." Clem looked up at Louis only to be met with his taken aback expression. He looked down for a bit and covered his blushing freckles, not being able to function.
"Clem..." Louis mumbled eyeing her stern golden one's.
"I love you Louis, these passed two weeks has made me grow feelings for you. I thought I should let you know..." Clem confessed holding the sides of his arms, leaning in to collide with Louis's lips.
Melting and sinking into the kiss which felt like forever but damn, it was warm pulling apart Clementine pulled away looking down at her chest clenching her heart as she waited for this overwhelming pressure of his response. It felt like a boulder was crushing her up until now to say it.
Louis in shock, staring in Clem's direction, Clementine looks up at him getting lost in his many freckles on his facial features, directing her vision towards his eyes. To her surprise he grabbed her face locking themselves into another deepened kiss.
Clem couldn't help but melt in this moment again, it felt like gravity was pulling on her body. This is lust sweeping over her and Louis can taste it on her soft lips, kissing the girl he had grown strong feelings for from the beginning.
"Ah~mmh" Clem slipping out an aching moan pulled apart their now well aquainted lips.
Louis blushing not knowing what had gotten into him. He loved it though and now that he knows he feels..Loved.
Clementine grasped his hands holding them gentle and firm looking up at him again. Louis gave Clem his classic smirk chuckling shortly after in response to Clementine's reddend face, making her smile in return.
"Clem! Your next on look out!" Ruby shouted from the school entrance.
"Ah yeah..I'm on lookout duty-" Clem suddenly getting cut off by Louis wrapping himself around her waist.
"Can I join you?~" Louis asked smoothly into her ear.
"You're a walking distraction, you know that?~" Clementine giggled~
