"you're missing people who don't miss you again." she spoke, at her friend who's eyes are glued to the phone screen that was in front of her, scrolling.

"yeah, well, maybe they miss me too." she mutters tiredly, it seemed like this was all she had been doing for the past few weeks, it was time consuming she thought.

"you know that isn't true. or else they'd would've texted, called, or reached out. you know they'd don't give two shits about you." the other girl hissed with frustration.

"if that was the truth then tell me why I haven't spoken either, when all I do is hurt my self over and over everyday thinking about them, and yet I don't do anything about it. it all in the way WE humans do things, we're too scared." she says in a hushed but shaking tone, slamming her phone down with the screen facing down.

"on the other side of those messages, he's secretly hoping I'd text him too."
