Y/n's POV
I park in an open spot in front of Wal-Mart. As I turn off the engine i look at the boxes in the back seat.
I feel a slight hesitation in my plan.
Do I really want them gone?
My only friends?
I shake my head and look back out the windshield. People walk with their families inside and others walk out with grogeries and other things.
I have Mark.
I dont need them.
They're toxic.
I nod in agreement with myself.
Putting my hand on the handle I push the door open, exiting the car.
The cool air on my hot skin calms me.
I look up at the sky and smile.
Looks like it's going to rain.
Good thing I love the rain.
I walk into the large store.
I have never been in such a largely crowded place alone before.
People chat with one another and some appear to be laughing.
It makes me smile as i remember when Ethan, Kadence, Julia, Mark, and I all came here.
We messed around in asiles and pushed each other in carts.
We ended up buying way more than we anticipated.
I chuckle.
I begin to make my way down different asiles in search for marshmallows.
After looking at a couple signs that hand from the ceiling, I find them.
It doesnt take me much longer to find hotdogs either.
I also decide to pick up a few other things like fire wood, hamburgers, and some condiments.
I throw all of the stuff into a cart and slowly start to venture away from the food.
If i remember correctly, matches are in this direction.
I head opposite of the food and start to wander aimlessly until I eventually find charcoal, long lighters, matches, and other stuff like that.
I grab a box of matches and a small bag of charcoal.
Im about to go find check out when my mind starts to race.
Is this right?
Of course it is.
