Claudia
Mabilis ang pagpapatakbo ni Inigo ng sasakyan. Mga tanghali na ng nakarating siya sa gate ng mansyon nila Claudia. Hindi na talaga nya magawang maghintay pa dahil sabik na sabik na itong makita ang dalaga.
As soon as the gate opened, he stepped on the gas and went inside the premises of Claudia's house. The valet took his car as he went out.
Nang makapasok siya sa loob ng nito at tahimik.
"Hey! Where's Claudia?" he asked the maid.
"Si Don Carmelo lang ho ang narito," magalang na sabi ng kasambahay.
"Can you inform him that I'm here?" he asked
"Ano pong pangalan niyo?"
"Inigo Hamilton." tumango lang ang kasambahay sa kanya at iniwan na siya sa sala. Naupo siya sa sofa at hinintay ang pagbaba ni Carmelo.
Hindi nagtagal ay dumating na rin si Carmelo.
"Mr. Hamilton." bungad sa kanya nito.
"Sir." he stood up and took his hand as Carmelo offered a hand-shake.
"What took you here?" he asked. Naupo naman si Carmelo sa isang couch kaya naupo na rin si Inigo.
"I'm here to visit your daughter." medyo nahihiyang sabi niya kay Carmelo.
"Claudia isn't here." nawala ang ngiti sa mga labi ni Inigo.
"Oh where is she?" tanong niya.
"She's in the office." katahimikan lang ang naging tugon ni Inigo. Hindi niya mahanap ang dapat sabihin.
"Hijo, I should thank you for saving my daughter." biglang sabi ni Carmelo kaya napatingin sa kanya si Inigo. "I know it wasn't your responsibility and it's mine, yet you still went out your way to save her. I could not thank you enough." bakas sa pananalita ni Carmelo ang pinaghalong lungkot at saya.
"You don't have to thank me. She's my girlfriend and ..." he paused a bit and look at Carmelo straight in the eye. "...and I love her." he took all the courage he saved up to say those words. It wasn't easy yet he has to say that.
"I know. I know. I also heard you almost died." napabuntong hininga naman si Carmelo. "I could not see you as I was busy taking care of Claudia. She was badly beaten and could not walk for days." halos maluha na sabi ni Carmelo habang inaalala ang kalagayan ni Claudia noong dumating ito sa bahay nila.
"Is she okay now?" he asked with concern in his eyes.
"Yes. She's fine. You should see her. She wanted to see you."
"I will."
matapos ang paguusap ni Inigo at Carmelo ay nagpaalam na si Inigo upang puntahan ang kinaroroonan ni Claudia.
It took him an hour to get on her office. He parked his car in the parking and immediately went on the 11th floor where Claudia's office is located. Carmelo told him so he could immediately see her.
Nang makarating siya sa 11th floor ay lumapit agad siya sa receptionist.
"Hi good afternoon! Whom can I talk to regarding Miss Claudia Santiago?" tanong niya sa babae sa likod ng receptionist table.
"Good afternoon sir?" she asked.
"Inigo Hamilton." pagpapakilala niya.
"Mr. Hamilton, I am Miss Santiago's secretary."
