Teenage Equestrian Ninja Titans: The First Easter

Gethsemane

Outside the upper room, Jesus gathered his disciples and the team.

Jesus: "This very night, you will all fall away on account of me. For it is written, I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered. But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee."

Peter: "Even if all fall away, I never will, Lord, Never."

Jesus: "Peter, Satan desires to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, so that your faith may not fail, and when you are strengthened, encourage your brothers."

Jesus then said this.

Jesus: "Truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times."

Peter: "Even if I have to die with you, I never will deny you."

The team did not like the sound of that.

Silver: "This is bad, guys."

Shadow: "Agreed."

They followed Jesus to a garden called Gethsemane. There Jesus told them.

Jesus: "Sit here while I go over there and pray."

Rarity: "Why, Jesus."

Jesus: "My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death, and sorrow overtakes me. Stay here and keep watch with me." 

Jesus then went over to a boulder and fell to his knees and prayed.

Jesus: "Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me, yet not my will, but your will be done."

Jesus returned to the team and his disciples and found them sleeping.

The team woke up.

Robin: "(Yawns) What's going on?"

Starfire: "(Yawns) Sorry, Jesus, we promise we'll stay awake."

Jesus: "No no, go back to sleep. I asked the others to watch over me."

Mikey: "Well that's a relief! (Goes back to sleep)" 

They went back to sleep, while Jesus wakes up his disciples.

Jesus: "Couldn't you keep watch with me for an hour?"

Peter: "Sorry, Lord."

John: "We'll try to stay awake and keep watch."

Jesus: "Watch and pray so that you may not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."

Jesus went back to the bolder, and prayed the second time.

Jesus: "My father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done."

Jesus then when back to his disciples and once again found them sleeping. But this time he left them and went and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.

Then music began and Jesus started singing.

Jesus: My heart is overwhelmed

to the point of death
and sorrow overtakes me
and darkness looms all around
Theres no light to be found

It's a long hard road
That you put me on
And I am all alone
But I choose to die
For the ones that you have given me
So not my will, but yours be done

Jesus was sweating blood, then an angel came and strengthened him.

Jesus: Father if it's not possible
