Levi stared with teary eyes as he watched Eren carrying the blonde Omega inside. His emotions were all over the place. One thing was, he's angry because there's unfamiliar Omega that just appeared on their doorstep and then he was hurt because Eren looked at him like he did something bad again.

All Levi knew that he didn't do anything and the other Omega just fainted on his own.

Levi took a peek in the room where Eren carried the newcomer. The Alpha looked worried and the raven Omega fears went back again. This time, he won't remain quiet, he'll have to defend himself.

Slowly entering the room, Levi spoke. "Eren, I didn't do anything- he, just fainted..."

Eren looked at him, eyes wide then the Alpha chuckled and rubbed his nape. "Sorry, I supposed, I should get used to you talking in a full sentence."

Levi beamed, but realizing the problem at hand, his mood shifted. "I'm sorry..."

"It's okay. I guess, I knew why Armin fainted." Eren threw back his head and sighed. "We'll never knew what's coming until he wakes up."

After a hour later, the blonde Omega woke up. Armin kindly asked Levi to leave for some privacy because he had something to discuss with his Alpha. And here's Levi now, sitting on the steps of the porch, and listening to the conversation.

"Eren, what were you thinking?!"

"Armin, calm down. I can explain."

"Do you know what you got into?! Bonding with him?!"

"Armin! Listen!" Eren shouted. "Do you know what I've been through?! Oh, wait, isn't this the job you recommend to me in the first place?!"

Levi covered his ears as best as he could. He learned before how painful it was listen. But even if he tried, his heighten senses picked it up. He tried to ignore the rest of the conversation, distracting himself with the sand and admiring the waves on the beach.

"But, despite everything that happened..." Eren's voice soften. "I thought that his adorable..."

This time, Levi didn't cover his ear instead his hands went straight to his mouth, silencing the incoming squeal.

There was a long pause inside the cottage, until the blonde Omega let out a chuckle. "You hit hard..."

And they both started laughing like they didn't shouted at each other a minute before.

"But, this doesn't help with our problem."

"I know..." Eren sighed. "How about we try to convince Erwin Smith?"

"Really Eren? You're Omega ripped his arm off. I don't think he is over it. Well, I think he does, but that's how the fighting machines were for. For battle. And he's just doing his job."

"But, Levi is not a fighting machine or a killing machine. He is a human! Just like the rest under that lab!"

The conversation went on but Levi was too busy to listen to it now. He needed to take matter on his own hands since it was all of his fault. Erwin was their problem now and Levi's willing to get rid of it.

"Ugh..." Erwin forced his eyes open, ignoring the throbbing pain on his head. He remembered that he was in his office, drowning on paper work. Then, a zap of pain exploded on the back of his head.

Waiting for his eyes to adjust at the light, Erwin felt the sweat dripping on his forehead. His office was not this hot before, maybe the air conditioning was broken.

Blinking several times, Erwin could make out the green palm leaves above him, shading him from the blazing sun. He heard laughter and splashing of water and was that the smell of salt? Ocean salt?
