"wait, wait, wait," sojung, who was beside me, said. "exactly who studies here? did i hear you right? did you just say taeyong?"

i told her about taeyong being here and she seemed annoyed. "why do you dislike him so much anyway? it's not like he did something to you... or me.. or did he?"

this was just one of the days that sojung and i were alone during lunch time. wonwoo apparently procrastinated and didn't do his homework (that was given last week) that was due today, so he's just doing it in the library right now.

jisoo is still apparently sick, and jeonghan and seungcheol were nowhere to be found.

"i actually don't know. it's just my conscience telling me he has this bad feel everytime i ses him"

i scoffed at her statement. "now you know how it feels like when i see jisoo."

"i guess.."

all of the sudden, a person tapped my shoulder. sojung and i turned around, and saw taeyong smiling widely.

sojung flinched a bit before turning back to her food, while taeyong's smile slightly lessened as he saw sojung.

"oh, come on." i said. "do you guys still literally dislike each other?"

"oh, pfft, no." sojung said, as if she was kidding. "right, taeyong?"

"oh- uh, yeah!" taeyong said, playing along. i rolled my eyes playfully as i signalled taeyong to sit in the bench in front of us.

we started talking, and surprisingly, sojung and taeyong actually conversed with one another.

suddenly, wonwoo barged in the cafeteria, and since we were near the entrance, we could hear him barge in.

he was panting, as if he just ran. then i realized, he must be really hungry and there were only twenty minutes of lunch left.

"hey, guys!" he said, still happy. "oh, taeyong? hello! anyway, gotta buy some lunch 'cause i'm starving."

i looked at taeyong weirdly, "you know eachother?"

"yeah, actually, when i first met wonwoo in school, i noticed his voice was really nice for rapping. i complemented it, and then i asked what department he was in, and i assumed it was rap but turned out it was vocal so yeah."

i nodded, and after a few minutes wonwoo came back with his tray of lunch. "nice to see you again, taeyong!" he said.

"yeah, dude."

we all started talking until stupid (jk) taeyong brought out the jisoo topic.

"so, what happened between you and jisoo? are ya'll good now?" he asked. wonwoo gave him a weird look.

"what about jisoo?" he asked me.

"i envy your innocence." i said. making sojung nod in agreement.

taeyong looked at me with a look that said, 'he doesn't know?' i just raised my eyebrows quickly while wonwoo wasn't looking. wonwoo noticed the tension, and he spoke.

"is there anything going on between you and jisoo that i don't know about?" wonwoo asked suspiciously.

"no, no," i said, lying. "it's not like that. we were just talking about the incident the other day."

wonwoo gave us a suspicious look before nodding. "doesn't make sense, but okay."

school was over, and i was heading home until i got a text.

jisoo☕️

jisoo☕️
hello

how are ya?

haewon
hi

im good

are you still sick?

jisoo☕️
yeah but only a little.

i can go to school tomorrow already :)))

haewon
that's good to hear!

you kinda missed out on important
topics

but i guess your friends already told
you about it?

jisoo☕️
yeah...

anyway, nice talking with you!

haewon
yeah!

see you tomorrow!
seen, 3:24 PM

i don't even know why, but everytime i text jisoo i just seem to care for him. like, in real life i'd be like, "jisoo, i don't care about you." while in texting mode i'd be like, "jisoo, how are you?"

i guess i'm just nicer when i text people, or maybe, just maybe, i'm accepting jisoo's "friend request" in my life. heh, i don't think that'll happen soon.
