Chapter 16

When you and Shouto got to school, you took him up to the roof since you had about half an hour before class starts. You were both listening to music through your Airpods and Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado Ft. Timbaland came on. Man, back when you lived in the States this was your jam. You sang along and provided Shouto with translation. His face was pink since usually music like this wasn't a thing in Japan. America was more...open, with its lyrics. You hummed and danced and tried to get him to dance despite his complaints. You managed to get him to sway a little. You took his hands in yours and just begin your morning with fun. You saw the faintest smile on Shouto's face as you swung his arms around with yours. The bell ended your fun as you both scurried your butts back to class. A bandaged Aizawa gave you two a stern look as you both walk in.

"What was so important that you were both late?" he inquiries.

"We were dancing." you replied sternly with a big grin. Todoroki looked somewhat embarrassed as you stated that. He remained silent as you grin and walk to your seat. 

Aizawa looked confused but didn't question further. He kept talking and soon enough you all were released to go about your day in your other classes. Your next class was English, and you all had to group up to write some dialogue for a small narrative. Since you were the only one fluent in English, you had classmates coming at you left and right. You decided to group up with Todoroki, Bakugou, Kirishima and Mina. In groups of five, you all began to go over directions and what to do. Your day went about with projects such as these, and soon enough lunch time rolled around. You knew Bakugou would demolish you if he knew you brought cake and ice cream for lunch instead of a good balanced meal, but you couldn't help yourself, you just love sweets! You sit next to him and bring Todoroki along for the fun. Whipping out your goodies, Bakugou stares at you.

"What's that shit you're filling your body with?"

"three-milk cake covered in fresh whipped cream and cookies and cream ice cream." you grin in response. Bakugou grabs your food away from you.

"Dunce-face. You know what to do." he hands your delectable goodies to Kaminari.

"Kobe." he states as he threw it into the trashcan. You screech in response. 

"DENKI HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME" you cry as you hug onto his arm. He pats your head.

"Sorry (n/n), you gotta eat a little healthier to be in good shape for training."

Mina threw in her two cents. "plus, you'll be all sluggish when it comes to running and endurance!"

You groan as your aching tummy growled in irritation. None of your friends had extra money and the bit that Todoroki had he needed for the bus fare back home. You sat with your forehead against the table as Bakugou glances at you, feeling a little bad to have gotten rid of the food you did have. He'd make this up to you later, but he really was just trying to take care of you for your own sake. Instead, he gave the other half of his lunch to you. You just couldn't handle the amount of spice he drenched his food in, and you cried even more. 

After the lunch mishap you were all to go to Heroing 101 with All Might and another lecture about self-image and how to be approachable and liked by citizens. Your stomach growled the entire time and you felt a lot of embarrassment. 

"Young (y/n)! Did you eat your lunch today?" All Might whispered to you during work time.

"No...my friends threw it away because it wasn't healthy."

"Well what was it?"

"Cake and ice cream..." you grumbled as you held your empty tummy to stop it from eating itself. All Might looked concerned for your well-being as he thought of what to do for you. Not being able to come up with a solution at the moment since this was the last class of the day, he patted your back and smiled.

"If you can make it home quickly you'll be fine!" he states as he walks away. 

You were gonna force Katsuki to carry your ass home for throwing away your sweets.
