3| memories

I took the watch and went downstairs to my dad's lab. It's the only place I really feel connected with him so I come here a lot.

You put the thing on the glass table.
"Friday scan this for me please" I asked the AI

Within seconds different holograms start popping up. "Huh interesting" I read all the information but then I saw some classified documents

"Friday what's that?" I clicked on off the documents "It appears to be classified miss stark" Friday said

"yeah no shit and it's Morgan by the way, can I override it?" "Override password?"

"Uhm alcohol?" The hologram turned red

"ironman is the best?" Red "that's a suprise" I said to myself

"pepper Potts?" Red again

"Morgan stark?" It turned green and then a video recording appeared.

"Let's run one last time before we pack it in for the night" I looked at it with big eyes.

"this time in a shape of a mobius strip" I got tears in my eyes looking at my dad

I paused the video. "Friday can you do the same thing like you did then"

"I am sorry Morgan, Mr. Stark sealed everything else and I can not override it" Friday answered

"what were you doing dad?" I asked myself

I resumed the video. "Give me the value of that particle factoring in spectro decomp" (idk what the actual fuck I'm saying but this is what tony says)

"just a second" Friday says  "What is he doing" I'm thinking about what it could be "wait" I say shocked "he couldn't be, could he?"

I continue watching "And don't worry if it doesn't work I'm just kind off-"

"model rendered" dad looks up, shock fils his eyes and he falls down in his chair.

He puts his arms in the air "shit" he says surprised/shocked "what were you working on dad?"

"Shit" I hear a little girl say in the back dad turns around surprised "that's me" I say starting to cry again

I couldn't watch it so I stopped the video "Friday can you upload these files to my watch"

I build a watch like dad so I can have Friday everywhere I go and I have some defense when I'm in trouble

"Uploaded" Friday reports "thanks Friday, also I want cheeseburgers so send the directions to the Audi R8" I say while looking for the keys

"I am sorry to ask but aren't you grounded?" Friday asks "yes so? I want cheeseburgers and you can tell mom to shove it" I answer "actually don't"

"Yess found them" I can't drive but the car can drive on its own so I don't have to do anything.

I hopped in the car and drove to burger king "Can I have 2 cheeseburgers please?" I say to the man in the drive-through "of course you can drive to the next window" he says politely.

arriving at the next window the man saw the car and then me and stared for a minute.

"Can I pay?" I ask snapping him out of his thoughts "oh yeah sorry Ma'am"

"no problem" I paid and drove to the next window, getting the same weird look.

I got home and sneaked back to my room making sure no one would see I sneaked out.

I hopped on my bed with my burgers. "Friday can you show me the last bit of that footage?" Sure thing morgan" the video appeared on my wall.

"Shit" I hear myself say again. dad puts his fingers in front of his mouth. "What are you doing up little miss" he asked me "shit" I say again

I giggled as I remembered that

"Nope we don't say that. only mommy says that word she coined it, it belongs to her" he told me

"Why are you up?" I asked him "because I had some important shit going on here, What do you think?" I laughed at his comment

"No I got something on my mind" he corrected himself

"Like ice lolly's?" Little me asked devilish "that's extortion" he stands up and takes me to the kitchen. Then the footage ended

I was crying but also laughing at the same time. I thought back at that moment

We sat on the bed almost done eating. "You done?" Dad asks. I nodded yes so he ate the last bit. He cleaned my mouth with the end of his sweater.

"That face goes there" he says while pushing me down on my head to lay down (this sounds really weird when I write it lol) "tell me a story"

"A story? Once upon a time Morgan went to bed the end" he jokes "that's a horrible story" I tell him "come on that's your favorite story"

"Love you tons" he tells me, giving me a kiss on my forehead "I love you three thousand" I say to daddy. He just smiles at me.

He gets up and turns off the lamp. Before leaving the room he says "three thousand that's crazy" smiling "go to bed or I'll cell all your toys, night night" I giggle and he closes the door

I didn't know I was crying this hard. Mom probably heard it because she entered my room. "Morgan are you alright?" She asks worried.

I wipe away my tears. "Yeah I'm fine" "you were thinking about him weren't you?" Tears welled up again so I just nodded. She gave me a hug and started crying too.

We hugged and cried for a few minutes and then parted away. We wiped away our tears. "How about we go downstairs and grab some ice cream" she suggests I nod.

She stands up and then looked at my nightstand. "How did you get cheeseburgers when your not allowed to leave the house?" She looks at me sternly

"Sam got them for me" I lied and I think she believed it because she turned around and walked away so I followed her.

We ate ice cream and then I went upstairs to sleep.

'tomorrow I'm gonna ask one of them about that day so I can figure out what happened and what dad was working on' I thought to myself
