Chapter 34

Binnie POV

It's a week before prom and no one has asked to be my date yet. I'm afraid that I'll embarrass myself because I don't have a date yet. The girls have been bragging of their prom dates while I sat there listening silently.

I looked at Hyungwon oppa from across the room. I kind of expected him to ask me but he didn't.

"Did he ask someone else?" I thought to myself thinking of the worst that could happen

The days passed, it was 3 days before prom.

"Binnie-yah have you bought your dress for the big day?" Hyojung unnie asked noticing I haven't prepared anything

"Not quite" I paused waiting to blurt out the news

"I think I might not go to prom" I said

"WHAT?" the girls all screamed

"Yah what do you mean you're not going to prom?" Hyojung unnie says

"You've been waiting for this day since you entered high school?" Mimi unnie screams

"You can't just not go because you don't have a date?" Yooa unnie says

"There are lots of boys who asked you why did you turn them all down?" Seunghee unnie says

They were all trying to convince me to go while Jiho stayed calm. She was planning something I can feel it.

"How about you calm down at the school park for awhile? Think about your decisions clearly, it might change your mind" Jiho says as she drags me out to go to the park

When I arrived at the gates of the park I saw a note hanging on the gate.

"Meet me at the big oak tree at the middle of the park"

It didn't even say who it was from but I went to the meeting place.

A huge sign that says, "Will you go to prom with me?" was hung on the branches of the oak tree. I also noticed a picnic on the ground below the shade of the tree. Hyungwon oppa came out hiding behind the tree.

"So will you go to prom with me?" He says coming closer to hold my hands

"Of course I will" I say hugging him tight

"Yah what took you so long?" I asked him

"I thought I wanted to give a suspense feeling. I didn't want to ask early like everyone does. I wanted it to be a surprise" he says making excuses

We ate the picnic that he prepared happily.

"I'm finally going to prom" I thought to myself

Jiho POV

All my promposal plans for my unnies and dongsaengs were a success. The guys kept on texting me "Thank yous" for helping them and the girls kept texting me for outfit and date plans.

I loved seeing all my friends so happy. I was on my way home with a smile on my face.

I opened the gates and doors to head inside and saw no one. I saw a letter on the living room desk.

"Jiho, eomma and appa are on a business trip. We left you food and money for a week. The maids and butlers will be there to serve you tomorrow morning. Take care sweetie, we love you"

I folded the letter back and went inside my room. It was quite dark so I opened the lights and saw a bouquet of red roses on my bed with a letter.

I looked at the roses and immediately thought who was behind this. I ran towards our gardens and saw a path of roses leading me. As I looked close into the hut I saw him, Doyoung. There was a sweet candle lit dinner and him holding a bouquet of roses.

"Will you be my prom date?" He suddenly asks

"Of course I will" I said while eaching for his face to kiss him.

"I love you" I said as I let go

"I love you too" he says

We sat ourselves down and ate the dinner together.

"What's with all this by the way? Why so sudden?" I asked him

"I wanted to give you a traditional promposal even knowing that we're together and its a given to be each other's dates" he answered

"Thank you, that's so sweet of you" I said while holding his hands

We enjoyed the night together. He even stayed the night to accompany me since he knew I was going to be alone.
