Today was Doug and Millie's wedding day. I was so happy for him. For 4 years, I have seen these two through ups and downs, lefts and rights, and everything else. But what I really know, is that they love each very much.

At the dinner hall, we set up the decorations for the wedding, and Charlie texted me.

CHARLIE
Hey! I can't wait to see you in a tux. 😉

She's such a flirt. So I texted back.

OWEN
Hey, I'm just imagining how good look in a bridesmaid dress. 😉

CHARLIE
hahaha. You're such a flirt.

Ahhh, what are the odds.

Millie, the rest of the other bridesmaids, and I were trying on our dresses in the fitting rooms, and I absolutely loved the dresses. Because the theme was blue and gold, we all had blue and gold bridesmaids dresses.

Millie came in and her face lit up. "OMG! You guys look amazing! Just wait till you're in the altar with me! We will make the guys swoon!"

We looked at Millie in confusion, and she caught her mistake.

"Oh, I mean I have a husband to swoon, but you guys will make all the guys swoon," she said as she pointed at all of us.

I sat down on the bench outside the fitting rooms, and was thinking about how it would only be a matter of time before I'm getting married. And even though, this day isn't about me, and can't help but think about how my wedding would turn out....

Or if I will even have one.

This is it. Today's the day I'm marrying my high school sweetheart. She's been with me through my tough times; when my father died from a heartattck, and my Mom, even though she beat it, had lung cancer. I owe my life to her.

She's the one I love. I want to be with her for the rest of my life.

As the night fell, the wedding was about to begin

As the night fell, the wedding was about to begin. I hear a sharp knock at the door.

Charlie walked in with a big smile on her face. Even though I've only known her for a little while, it feels like I've known her for a forever.

Like, we were best friends in high school who stood by each other every time something happened to one of us.

"Hey," She spoke while giving me a hug.

"Are you ready for your big day?"

I blew out a big, nervous breath I had been holding. "Yes, I've wanted this for a while."

"Well, I'm very happy for you," she smiled. "I also wanna know where you guys are having your honeymoon."

"Um, I think Doug and I planning on going to Paris this summer."

"Oh my goodness! That's amazing! Send me lots of pictures," she said while laughing, and I joined in too.

I then asked her to help me put on my veil, and then she gave me another hug before asking, "Are you ready to do this?"

Yes. I was ready.
