Plot: He secretly likes you and starts dating your friend to make you jealous but it doesn't work.

Y/N POV

I sat in class looking out the window when my best friend walked in with V. They sat next to each other and he threw his arm around her shoulders. My eyes widened and I looked out the window.
Are they dating? Y/N why do you care, you don't like him anymore.

"Yah Y/N. Come sit with us.", My best friend said to me.

"But I'm so lazy.", I whined and she laughed.

"Oh come on.", she said and V kissed her cheek.

"Nah I'm good.", I shook my head.

After lunch I went to my locker and saw them flirting. I sighed and tried to control my jealousy. I should be happy for them. I opened my locker and exchanged my books when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see V looking nervous.

"Yes.", I said.

"Can I talk to you?", he asked and I nodded.

We walked outside and he sighed. I stood confused until he looked at me.

"I like you.", he stated and I went wide eyed.

"What but what about Y/Bestie/N? I can't do that to her and she's a great girl. You are not cheating on her with me.", I said walking off.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me back.

"Let go.", I warned.

"We were never dating. She told me you liked me but I never had the guts to talk to you. We tried the whole jealous thing but it didn't work.", he scratched the back of his neck.

"Stop lying.", I said.

"He's not lying Y/N. As much as you talk about this boy he finally confesses and your being dumb.", my best friend sighed.

"So will you go out with me?", he asked.

I sighed before nodding. He smiled and hugged me. My best friend smiled and walked off leaving us.

"And by the way it did work.", I said quietly.

"It did?", he asked.

"Ne. I'm just good at hiding it.", I told him and he pecked my cheek.
