Since the whole sticking up for Zim part and my brother believing he's an alien things have been awkward with Zim. He seems to get nervous around me for some reason

Ive asked him but he just tells me he doesn't know why he does. My brother still asks him questions which makes Zim happy that someone is interested in his knowledge of space

It was the weekend when my brother burst into my room "(y/n)!"

"Yeah?" Taking my eyes off my book to look at him

"Mom wants to meet, Zim. So she's asking you to invite him over"

"Ok. Ill be down in a second" (b/n) just yelled an okay then left for me to get into some decent clothes since I was in my pjs

After getting dressed I went downstairs putting my shoes now heading outside to go to Zims house across the street

Knocking on Zims door. Waiting awhile to see Zims robot Gir open the door in his disguise giving a loud hello making me cover my ears

"Gir I thought I told you not open the door!" Hearing Zims loud voice boom from wherever he was

"But your lady friend is here master!" Gir smiled looking back to Zim

Zim got behind Gir showing himself in his disguise. I just smiled at him and waved

"Hey Zim"

"O-oh, hello, (y/n) human. What do you want?" Zim shooed Gir away. Mostly likely he's eating tacos or waffles

"Oh, my mom wants to meet you. So she's inviting you over"

Zim looked back, mostly at Gir then back at me "Zim accepts your offer" he gave a slight smile as I smiled back

"Awesome, come on. Ill take you to my house"

"Okay" Zim faced Gir "Gir make sure no one comes inside" he ordered his robot as it saluted with red eyes which quickly went back to blue with a goofy smile. Zim shut his door as we headed to my house "so why does (y/n) humans parental unit want to see Zim?"

"Just to get to know you. To make sure what kind of person you are. Basically to see what your like as a human"

"So don't act like an Irken?"

"Exactly. Just so she doesn't freak out and suspect you"

"Zim understands"

We got to my house and headed inside to (b/n) watching TV and mom making dinner. So me and Zim just walked in more so my mom can take notice of him

"Oh, is this your guys friend, Zim was it?" (m/n) asked

"Yes. I am Zim" Zim gave my mom a hand shake causing her to smile at how polite he was being

"Such a nice boy"

"Zim-" I elbowed him gently making sure my mom didn't notice and him to watch what he says "-is glad you think so" he corrected himself

"Well why don't you two hang out in (y/n)'s room while I finish dinner?"

"Okay mom" I grabbed Zims hand taking him upstairs. Much to my knowledge that Zim had a dust if blue on his face not knowing he did. Once we got to our room I opened the door, holding my hand out to him "welcome to my humble abode"

"Humble what?" Zim asks

"Humble abode. Just a fancy way of saying where I live aka my room" I sat on my desk. My movies next to my Tv which stood on a movie stand. My laptop on my stand next to my bed with my water bottle

Zim looked around then saw the movies "what's that?" He pointed to my row of movies

"Oh, those are my movies. If you want we can watch one while we wait for dinner" I suggest not knowing what else to do while we waited

"Zim does not mind"

"Ok, why don't you pick one out"

"Ill do just that. Not because you asked me"

I just smirked at how he hated being told what to do by anyone except his leader of course is what I'm guessing

He grabbed a movie that was called It which I wasn't about to admit that I was scared so instead I put it in the dvr to start the movie. I had grabbed some drinks before heading up here. He drank his because it had more sugar than mine. Which I didnt really care for

A little into the movie there was a jumpscare where the clown ran at Billy in the basement causing me to jump and cling to Zims arm. He flinched but I didn't notice as my face was hidden in his arm as well

I was always fine with horror movies but I could never stand jumps cares especially if it involved clowns. Clowns and complete darkness plus being completely alone are my big fears. The one above the list is losing my family

Just as I looked back to the screen, a few minutes later into the movie another jumpscare happened making me hide my face again shaking a bit. I then felt a pat on my head. Looking up seeing Zim use his free hand to pat my head while blushing a bit of blue? I wanted to ask him why his face was blue but thats when we heard my mom yell our names to come down

We paused the movie to go down and eat dinner. Zim ate his to not cause suspicion. My mom was glad to see a new person like her food. It was late when we got done so my mom then invited him to spin the night. He was reluctant to but agreed to anyways

Zim slept in my room on the other side of my bed while I faced my wall hugging a pillow drifting to sleep. Once I did, Zim fell asleep as well, but hugged me in his sleep without noticing that he was. So that night consisted of us watching a movie and our first sleep over
