Confession

(found this in my painting class today. One of his other students drew my teacher, Zim, and Gir. Thought I should show you this since I found it funny)

Song: breaking the habit

After the dance Zim has been acting more and more nervous but wouldn't tell me why or what was wrong

I was worried about him so when the bell rang i walked with him to the cafeteria, me saving our seats for lunch as he went to get his food so he wasn't suspicious to anyone. He sat down from across from me. The weird thing is he was silent as he poked his food looking in thought again

Deciding to stop the awkwardness again, I used my pencil to poke his arm with the eraser part. This caused him to jump showing that i startled him.

"Sorry about that. You just seem so spaced out lately, first before the dance and now. Is there something else on your mind now?"

"A-actually yes, but Zim doesn't know how to put it into words that (y/n) human will understand" he looked at me, him now fiddling with his claws

"So your still trying to figure it out?"

"Yes, I am"

"Maybe if you explain to me what your feeling I can help you understand what to say"

"Zim knows what he's feeling but its hard to explain"

"Ok, explain what your feeling then so I know what your feeling so I can explain for you" he looks away as he starts to speak

"Well, first I get nervous around this person, I-its hard to relax around them. I get this weird feeling in my squeedlyspooch (if thats how you spell it, sorry to lazy to go on hulu and check). Zims face gets all heated up and turns blue when I'm around them as well, which I found out is called blushing, lastly my heart feels likes its about to explode from the thumping of my chest"

"Hmm, so your telling me your in love with someone?"

"Y-yes, Zim is telling you just that" his face went blue again. So he is blushing

"Is this someone on your planet?"

"No the person is not on my planet"

"Hmm, is it someone on another planet?"

"Yes, the person is on a different one"

"Which planet?"

"Earth"

"Do they go to our skool?"

"Yes they do"

"Are they in our class?"

Zim nods again now turning even more blue. It was really adorable when he blushed blue, it was unique, unlike the people on earth

"Do I know this person?"

"Y-yes (y/n) human knows this person"

The bell rang saying it was time to go home. I saw Zim give a sigh of relief

"Zim we are still talking about this after school on our way home" Zim grumbled while putting his tray away before we headed to my locker to get my backpack. We were walking to my brothers school when i decided to speak up again "so will you tell me who this person is or no?"

"Z-Zim will tell (y/n) human tomorrow after school" Zim rushed off back home without giving me any explanation, he just left. Shrugging it off as i got to my brothers school and waited for him

'I wonder if Zim is alright, he looked a bit panicked when I was asking those questions'

~Zims pov~

Booking it home, I slammed the door shut after I got inside my base panting a bit as I grabbed my disguise and threw it to the side hating that I had to wear it just to concur this planet. The only downside to taking it over is that (y/n) human and her parent unit plus her brother will be enslaved to the mighty tallest

She and her family have been the only ones to really be nice to me and actually like my company. No one else has, Gir is just to dumb to understand what it means

But all those questions she asked just made it harder and harder for me to tell her. She is just to amazing to not answer to. She would be a great irken if she was one

I've decided to tell (y/n) after school on the way home. Thats when ill get it off my chest

(time skip to tomorrow and at school skool)

~(y/n)'s pov)~

The day went by realllly slow. I tried to talk to Zim or even start a conversation with him but he would keep saying 'shh' or 'wait till after skool'. Deciding to just do that, I sketched in my sketch book as I waited for lunch. Just as i was able to erase the pencil marks the bell rang to eat

We all grabbed our stuff and headed for lunch. Me doing what i usually do. Take a spot and save one for Zim as he gets his tray of slop. Still confused on why he even bothers getting it

The lunch consisted of me finishing my sketch as Zim just watches me draw, not really taking his eyes off of it. I just assumed it was because he liked that I'm drawing him, but when I saw his face turn blue it just confused me

Bell rang for lunch ending a little after that so we headed outside after I grabbed my backpack to go home. During the walk home you could tell there was tension as it seemed like he needed to say something. Stopping at (b/n)s school Zim decided to speak up now

"(y/n) human, Zim has something to say"

"What is it, Zim?" Looking at him confused now

"Z-Zim, Zimreallylikesyou.will(y/n)humanbeZimslovepig?"

I just looked at Zim with wide eyes as I didn't understand a word he said "what Zim? You said that to quick"

He room a deep breath and spoke again "Zim really likes you. Will (y/n) human be Zims love pig?" His face was dark blue this time, showing he was blushing deeply

I blushed as well realizing what he said but I had no clue what love pig was "um Zim what is a love pig?"

"Oh, love pig is what you would call a boyfriend or girlfriend"

"I see, then yes I'd love to"

I took his claw not realizing that just a few seconds after I did my brother ran up to us and saw our hands

"Whats going on?"

"Well, (b/n), me and Zim are together" Zim blushed blue again

"As in dating?"

I laughed at his question "yes, as in dating"

"Yay!" My brother just jumped around in joy as Zim had a dark blue blushing face as I had a lighter blush on my face
