Brady's PoV~

"Stop twitching." The voice of my partner on this assignment snapped at me. His name is Johnny Lewis and he scares the crap out of me.

In a few minutes, we have to go to the top floor to do our job and I couldn't stop shaking. I know it's supposed to be one of the easiest jobs Mr. Valentino could give you but the thought of messing up is making me extremely paranoid.

"Have you been this before?" I asked. He nodded hesitatively.

"Just do what Mr. Valentino told you and don't look at the girl. My last partner made that mistake."

"What happened to him?" He made a sound in the back of the throat.

"He was an idiot. He told the other guards about how hot is she and that he wouldn't mind locking her in his attic when Mr. Valentino is done with her. Jake Scott heard from another guard about it and Mr. Valentino called him to his office. No one has seen him since." Lewis said as he picked the things we have to take with us.

I stood up with him and headed towards the elevator that would lead us up to the top floor.

"What do you think happened to him?" He released a long breath and chuckled.

"From the way Mr. Valentino has been acting since that girl was sent to the top floor with almost complete isolation, he was probably tortured for days until he was begging for his life." I nearly choked on the air from his words.

"What's the big deal with this girl?" He looked at me like I was stupid once I asked the question.

"How long have you been working here again?"

"This is my first day."

"Oh, that makes sense. Mr. Valentino found this girl a month or so ago. I was actually one of the guards he sent to watch over her when she left her apartment. Only a very few know what he wants of her, but I've seen them together. It's quite obvious they are in love, but I still don't know why he sent her up there."

We became quiet as we walked into the elevator. He had to enter a code and scan his finger before the elevator started going up.

Before the doors opened, he quickly turned to me.

"Mr. Valentino will up there, waiting for us." He finished right as the doors opened and we were greeted by the sight of Mr. Valentino paced the small room that served as an entrance to the isolation room.

At the sound of the elevator dinging, he turned to us with a pissed off expression.

"About time. You know the drill Lewis; did you give Santos a rundown on what not to do?" He nodded next to me.

Mr. Valentino handed me a bag with a warning look.

"Place these clothes on the edge of the bed, take the clothes in the laundry bask and place them in the empty bag, grab any trash, and grab any used dishes. Remember what I told you in my office." His dark eyes made me shake even more.

"Yes, Sir," I told him. Looking at him made me see just how tired he looked. He had dark circles underneath his eyes, but that didn't hide the vibe of authority that seemed to flow out of his like a river.

He pulled a syringe from his pocket and handed it to Lewis. I was about to ask what the needle was for but Lewis sent me a look.

Mr. Valentino turned around to the door and walked over to it. He pushed a button and scanned his finger. The door unlocked shortly after.

He moved out of the way.

Lewis stepped towards the door first with me behind him.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the freezing temperature. The second thing was the empty bed. Mr. Valentino said there was a sleeping girl in here but I couldn't see her.
