Poem # 10- Hand In Hand

For a setting like this—
Standing together as different individuals,
To us assigned this heavy task,
Overdue as we told,
For us to unearth the lost.

Different heads, different minds,
Different hearts
We stomp our feet on the solid grounds,
Sticking in a globular pattern—
Hand in hand.

We— the people,
Crank our necks up and high,
Like a crane that soars the blue sky,
Like little kids sweeping with their kites,
Like that kind of propitious try,
And that's for us to venture the well-known.

But you never know...

It may still has some secrets to show.
