Poem # 48- Me, Myself And I

Plodding an ingress
Of a royal colored carpet
Neon colors;
Cloaking my vision.

Drinking martini
Blabbering nonsense
Thoughts are swelling
Lousy purchase.

Forging statements;
Sometimes quirky
Giggling afterwards
Surrounding something murky.

Clubbing—
As flashing lights gone beyond
Can't dance because I'm shy
But it contradicts; they let me try.

Sparkly eyes and favorable remarks
Wish I could just kiss it fine
But that's nonviable because—
It is just me myself and I.
