When your thick makeup smudged down
Whilst you flaunted a perplexing frown
I wrapped my arm around your unstable shoulders
To warm you up from this cold weather.

Fractured eyes, you exhibited upfront
Letting your lips quiver from your bemoan
Look up, for I wanted to take a quick glimpse
For I know what I should do.

Wrapping you up like you're a lotus flower
Never to chuck away; for I was here for you to empower
Relinquishing you wasn't an option; never it was
Just rest your head on my chest beneath the magenta skies.

I must confess; I'm the weak one
For you not here makes me futile
So I stand by, easing your shaky arms
I'm always that lad; who's always hauling you from harm.

And I didn't regret a single thing—
To which you always had that thing that I want you to bring...
