Poem # 81- Spectacles

With the vision of a fellow man
For whom he exhibits its light
I confess to my listener,
"Go forth; I'm inspecting my spectacles."

I lifted my flesh
For I gave myself comfort
I adjusted my spectacles
To observe such with fervor.

Hold my hand; guide me to the outside
Blinded by such thick mirrors
They spoke up— with evident terror
"Go forth; take off my spectacles."
