"So, Minhyuk sunbae and Daniel are your stepbrothers and.. the woman in your house is their mother? Okay, I get why your surname wasn't the same as them." Joohyuk said while walking with an ice cream on his hand.

Minah didn't say anything, hearing about that woman already made her feel frustrated.

"But, can I ask why did you seem not liking them..?" Joohyuk carefully asked. He can't help but to feel curious.

The corner of her lips curled up a little and she began to stare on the sky.
"I used to like her.. but that was a long time ago.. before my parents got a divorce." Minah began.

"Like her was the biggest mistake I've made.." Minah sighed.
"Why?" Joohyuk looked at Minah.

"She was my mother's best friend back then. After my brother's death, my parents fought a lot, blaming each other until finally they decided to split up. I guess that's when she took chance to get closer to my father.." Minah said without any expression.

The silence suddenly filled them. Once again, it's Joohyuk's job to break it.
"Yah, your ice cream is melting down.." Joohyuk said before going closer and licked some of it.

Minah's eyes widened immediately over his action.
"Erm.. sweet..." Joohyuk said while smiling widely.

Minah just stared at him. Her cheeks suddenly felt like burning up somehow.
Yup, she's blushing.

Joohyuk smiled even widely looking at her.
"Kiyowo." He accidentally said it out loud and realised it immediately.

"Err... wh.. why don't we go over there.." Joohyuk quickly changed the topic.
"Ah.. N..ne.."

They walked quietly until they arrived at the closest place to the river while quietly finishing their melting ice cream.

"It's beautiful right? The scenery." Joohyuk asked, sitting on the grass followed by Minah.

"Erm.. yeah, still beautiful.. the last time I visited here was on Chan's birthday 6 years ago.. not long before he's gone.." Minah said, looking up to the sky.

Joohyuk stared at her, feeling stupid for starting that topic.. again..

"I think that was the happiest moment in our life. We were all happy.. our whole family celebrated it..." Minah continued.

"Minah ssi.." Joohyuk slowly called.
"Mian.." Minah lowered her head, making him even guilty.

"It's just that.. everything I did reminded me of him." Minah bit her lip while playing with the grass.

"I.. I understand your feeling.." Joohyuk beamed, earning a slight smile from Minah.

"You know what.. I felt like I've been here but not exactly here.." Joohyuk spoke out again.

"What do you mean by that?" Minah look at him confusedly.

"It's not like I've never been here before but.. it felt familiar when I'm with you.. maybe I'm just dreaming about playing water and set up a fire near a river.. that's totally weird.." Joohyuk chuckled.

"Set up a fire at Han River. No one would do that unless they wanted to get caught.." Minah followed the chuckle.

"Haha.. you're right..." Joohyuk smiled, staring at Minah.
"I'm glad that you're finally smiling.." He said.

"Did I?"
Joohyuk nodded. "Erm.. yeppeo.." Joohyuk beamed.
"Huh.. what a joke..."

"It's not a joke. I'm serious.." Minah just laughed at his reaction. They continuously talked about themselves and get more comfortable with each other.
