Chapter 123: Julia, Crashing the Prom!

          Guess what I am going to be the first sophomore to do? Crash prom! It's a rule at our school. Prom is for juniors and seniors and most of my friends are seniors and juniors. A sophomore and freshman could only go to prom with a junior and senior.

"So, can I go to prom with one of you?" I asked my friends at the lunch table.

"Haha. Well, I am already going with Soren. Sorry" Nina said with a smile.

"I am going with Logan" Minnie said calmly.

Dang it! I glanced at Beth, Sadie, Mary, and Jodi. Of course, Jodi and Mary have dates! Geez, it must be nice to have someone you love.

"I don't know. I may or may not go to prom" Beth said as she poked at her salad.

I slammed my face on the table and groaned. I really wanted to go with my friends.

"I am going. Do you want to go prom with me?" Sadie asked politely.

I shot my head up and looked at her surprised. Is she being serious?!

"Really?!" I asked her surprised as I grab her hands.

Sadie was taken aback from my outburst and nodded her head. Yay! I can go to prom!

"Is your dog coming?" I asked her curiously.

"Yes!" she answered as she held my hands tightly.

Jodi whispered to Nina and Minnie, "I feel like those two could be long lost sisters"

Nina laughed at that statement while Minnie sighed in delight. I am so excited about this. I can't wait for this!

"Well, if you two are going then I am definitely going to go!" Beth decided joyfully.

Sadie, Beth, and I high fived each other in delight. Nina dropped her burger in a basket as she looked at us in shock.

"Wait, why are you coming now?" Nina asked surprised.

"It wouldn't be much fun for me, because most of us have dates. Now that we have Julia and Sadie, it will be so much fun!" Beth explained as she smiled at the two friends.

Nina sighed as Minnie pondered something.

"I can get us a place to eat" she said nonchalantly.

"How?!" Nina and Jodi asked shocked.

"My parents did leave me a fortune. I think it would be ok for us to use it for ourselves" Minnie said with a smile.

How rich is she?! Seriously, where did she get all that money?! Regardless, the Dreamers decided to go dress shopping while I went with Beth and Sadie to call my mother. We have to tell her about me going to prom and dress shopping. I am so excited about this.

"Hey, are your guardians coming to the prom?" I asked curiously.

My guardian is Tadakatsu. He's usually busy with running his kingdom with his father. I think he's going to take over soon. Since my friends are going to graduate, I guess the time of having a guardian is coming to an end. I don't mind it, I guess. I do find it cool to have one. I remember the days when I saw their guardians helping them out with their homework and protecting them from those shadowy creatures. My guardian was stern and always had a serious expression on his face. He made sure I could properly use my elemental power of time. It was a bit tricky to control. It wasn't as strong as Jesa's control over time, but it was helpful.

"Maybe. I am not entirely sure. Ninjini just kind of pops in whenever she feels like it" Beth said as she thought about it.

"I am not sure about Cherly" Sadie said as she pondered on this, "She is busy with protecting the forest from invaders and healing any injured Pokemon. How's yours?"
