Classmates Days Part 2

Chapter 97: Jeremia, My Partner is a God of Some Kind

                   So, this is the life of being watched...

"So, you're basically a god?" I asked the small creature as he nodded his head.

"Yep! I am Chip! Your guardian! We are going to have so much fun!" Chip said in delight.

Ok, then. I decided to go back and do my homework and ignore this little creature. He ended up floating around my room. He seemed to be very curious about everything in my room. I don't know why though. There is nothing special about my room. I just some clothes, books, and food. Well, he seemed to find it interesting. Later on, I went to my classes. After learning about my ability to use magic, my parents were very worried. They had to send me to a school who could properly train me to control it. I don't understand why I needed a guardian in all of this. Then the school began to shake.

"What's going on?" I asked as I saw a few students fleeing the hallway.

Just then, a shadowy creature jumped out and lunged at me! I didn't have time to react! I closed my eyes and waited for the impact, but nothing came. I opened to see Chip in front of me with a green shield around us!

"Are you ok? I'm so glad I got here!" Chip said with a grin as he held the shield.

However, it began to crack!

"Uh, do you have a plan to stop these things?" I asked him.

Then, two girls ran in front of us and looked prepared to handle the situation.

"Nina! You're up!" one of them shouted as she held a Pokeball in her hands.

"Yahoo!" Nina yelled as she pointed her keyblade forward to cast powerful spells towards these creatures, "Jodi! Go!"

Jodi threw the Pokeball to release a Lucario! Lucario ran forward to unleash quick punches and kicks at the creatures.

"Do we help or flee?" I asked Chip as we just watched the two of them take out these creatures.

"Depends. What do you want to do?" Chip asked as he turned his head to Jeremia, "We are supposed to protect you. We have to make sure you're safe"

"What do most classmates of mine do in these kinds of situations?" I asked him.

"Some help, but most of your classmates turn the other way and let the Dreamers fight the heartless" Chip answered.

Hm, what if I did something of both? It doesn't seem too fair that they do all the work, but I see why they do it. It looks like they were trained to handle these kinds of situations.

"So, what should we do?" I asked him.

"Uh, I can defeat a few of them if you really want me too" Chip suggested with a grin.

"Sure! Just stay close to me!" Chip said in delight as he raised his hands to create a green sphere around us, "CHARGE!"

We both ran towards the heartless and knocked them down! However, a few of the heartless jumped onto the sphere! They began to crack it!

"Oh, no!" Chip shouted in a panic.

Then, Nina jumped onto the sphere and slammed her keyblade against the heartless. She used ice, fire, and lightning spells to knock the creatures away from us. I understand why some students prefer to let them handle this! This is insane!

"I've got an idea!" Nina exclaimed as she turned to face Jodi and Lucario, "Let's play ball!"

"He won't get hurt, will he?" Jodi asked Chip as Lucario raised his fists.

"No, why?" Chip asked concerned.

"Ok, here comes the pitch, Nina!" Jodi yelled as Lucario easily picked up the sphere.

Chip and I jumped up in shock as Lucario easily picked us up! How strong this Pokémon?! Nina jumped off the sphere and stood on the other end of the hallway. Lucario threw the sphere at her as Nina drew the keyblade back! She made the keyblade covered with lightning as she swung it at the sphere! I let out a scream of fear as we were being thrown around the room. Nina let out a laugh as the sphere wrecked everything in its path!

"Can we stop now?!" I shouted as Lucario ran around to punch and kick the rest of the heartless.

Nina raised her wand to stop the sphere and lowered it to the ground.

"Sorry about that, but it was fun and easier to use to defeat the rest of the heartless with that" Nina said as she tapped the sphere with her keyblade to make it pop and release us.

"I guess so" I replied to her unamused.

"Well, that should be that for now. Nina can heal you if you want" Jodi said as she returned her Pokémon.

"No thanks. I am going to rest at my room" I said as I dusted myself off and then went to back to my room with Chip flying behind me.

However, I felt a wave of relief wash over my body. I looked around and saw a green light covering it.

"Hey! I said I didn't want your help!" I shouted as I turned towards them.

"It wasn't me!" Nina said as she raised her hands to show her wand and keyblade gone.

I looked around to see Chip with a nervous smile on his face. I took in a calm breath as I went back to my room.

"Sorry, but I did see your back a bit bruised. I really didn't want you to get hurt nor experience pain" Chip said with a nervous smile, "I don't want to lose a new friend I made"

Friend? Is he that lonely? I didn't think he would be that lonely.

"Well, thank you" I said to him as he went into my room.

I then opened the doors to my room and entered it. I opened a cabinet and then took out a bag of un popped popcorn. I made the popcorn and then decided to open the lower cabinet to reveal some movies.

"Which one would you like to watch?" I asked him as I then walked to the mini fridge to take out two bottled waters.

I placed the bottles on a desk as Chip then flew to cabinet to take out a movie. Then, he placed it in my hand. He really wants to watch the Godfather? Alright. I inserted the disk into the dvd player. Then I heard the microwave beep, signaling me that popcorn was finished. Chip sat on the edge of the bed as I went to get to the popcorn. I then joined him on the bed and let the movie play.

"So, how come we are doing this?" Chip asked curiously as he looked up at me.

I ate a few pieces of popcorn as I opened the bottle. I drank it before closing it.

"Well, we are friends, right? This is what friends do" I answered, "We're friends"

Chip grinned at me and agreed with a warm smile. The two of us ate the popcorn with delight as we watched the movie together. He's not alone and neither am I. We have each other, and we are going to be good friends.
