Classmates Days Part 2

Chapter 112: Gabrielle and LaurenC, Being a Friend

                    Gabrielle was playing on the Switch as Lauren was taking a nap on the couch. They were both relaxing in the Commons as they pondered about where Nina, Nerissa, and the other Dreamers were doing.

"Do you think Nerissa is safe?" Lauren asked tiredly.

"Probably. Nerissa is really tough. I highly doubt anything can stop her" Gabrielle answered confidently.

Silence fell upon the girls again as they continued to do their respective activities. Of course, their silence was cut short when Nerissa stumbled through a portal and looking very injured as well!

"What happened to you?!" Lauren exclaimed as Gabrielle went to help Nerissa up.

"Well, heartless missions are becoming scare lately. However, because of that, the heartless are much stronger than before as a result. Alex was busy with handling his hockey schedule while I didn't have much to do. I thought I could handle it, but it looks like it was not a good idea" Nerissa admitted annoyed.

"Wait, so those things are coming here then?!" Lauren exclaimed in shock as Nerissa panted heavily.

"Why aren't your guardians here though? Shouldn't they appear once your hurt?" Gabrielle asked as she helped Nerissa sit on the couch.

"Well, that should be the case, but they are busy with fixing up their worlds. Our world didn't need to be fixed up thanks to the deal Logan's and Preselzee's ancestors made in the past. So, they've asked for some time off to help their worlds" Nerissa answered as they heard something crack, "I'm sorry. It looks like things might get a tad worse. If you two want, you can get out of here and let me handle this. He's strong, but he's not very smart"

Lauren was ready to leave right away, but Gabrielle didn't want to leave Nerissa like this.

"Ok, so tell me what to do?" Gabrielle asked calmly.

Lauren sighed loudly as they began to think of a plan for the upcoming enemy. Nerissa activated the blue beam as Gabrielle helped her up. The three of them went into the locker bay and hide away near the back.

"So, who are we fighting?" Gabrielle asked in a whisper.

Then, something dark blue fly out of the keyhole and flew around.

"Sometimes, heroes and villains can reappear as Nightmares. These are creatures born from the fears and scares of humans and creatures alike. This one is Metal Sonic. Normally, Alex would be the one to handle this, but it looks like that fell to me" Nerissa explained calmly.

"So! How are we supposed to beat it?!" Lauren exclaimed in a whisper.

Nerissa remained silent as a plan was forming in her head. She knew her friends pretty well, so they could help her with the nightmare Metal Sonic.

"We need to distract it. Lauren has the power of gold. She can create a tough build which can hold up against anything" Nerissa said calmly.

Lauren shook her head as she shouted, "NO! NO! I AM NOT DOING THAT!"

Nightmare Metal Sonic heard her shouts and flew towards them.

"Sorry about this" Nerissa said as she drew a fist and punched Gabrielle's arm and shoved Lauren to the ground!

Gabrielle held her arm as Marley appeared behind Gabrielle as Lauren touched her golden bracelet to turn gold and solid.

"I need you to grab her and then help us get away. I'm sorry about punching Gabrielle and pushing Lauren to the ground, but I need to get rid of that nightmare" Nerissa said tiredly as she held herself up, "I just need some help"
