10 years from now, if I don't have to set up an alarm for the next morning, either I have become extremely successful or I have messed up real bad.
Also, you have no idea if you'll wake up alive next day but you still set an alarm. That is Hope.
A broken clock could be right twice a day but a working clock could be wrong all day.
